Stuck in Rescue Zulag

I got back to RuptureFarms to the place I couldnt get on the start of the game and it says on the wall "take us to the birds save us all" or something like that, and when I save it's called Rescue Zulag.
The problem is that I've done everything I can and I still cant seem to open an electric door that on the same screen with the mud that chant and gives you the red power. I think I shouldve used the sligs to talk to the slogs but I killed all the sligs, and I cant pass the slogs which keep coming no matter how much of them I kill.
Any ideas?

Yes, Scrab, I had that problem, too.

After you possess the slig, go over to the slog kennel screen. Start shooting instantly. Do not just hold the button down; if you do, then once in a while you will move back. Just stop for a millisecond once in a while. Eventually, the slog kennel will run out of slogs. Good Luck!

But the problem is that I killed the slig, so I guess I'll have to use a saved game. Too bad, I thought the game was programmed so you couldnt get stuck. Oh well...

In AE there is a restart path option. Lorne didn't think of that in 1997 did he?
