I've been in these forums for a while. But these last few months I've been away.

But I'm back! and I'm still the slig expert!

Anything you want to know about sligs, I can answer them!

First Question: Probobly about 50-100 Sligs in the Slig Barracks

Second Question: After Rupture Farms was destroyed, All sligs were equiped with special masks that could identify mudokons so they know which mudokon is Abe

Third Question: I saw no brand name

Edit: I counted 70 sligs in the Slig Barraks.

Yeah they probably hid the brand name somewhere on the gun and I don't expect a Slig to even care anyways, but just so you know it was called the Blunderbuss.

Sorry, sligs don't attach themselves onto there pants. The Vykkers made machiens that lock sligs onto there pants. And as for the special masks, you do remember how dumb sligs are, right?

Are you saying that none of the sligs in Rupture Farms could identify Abe from the other mudokons? That's strange because they always shot at him... *rolls eyes*

Maybe they spit in it as a lubricant cause the Glukkons are too cheap to buy stuff so the gears in their pants don't grind together. Or maybe it's like one of those beer hats that have the two cup holders and straws coming out of it so they have like pudding in there for lunch so they just slurp it out and eat there lunch like that instead of eating the crap the Glukkons give them. Stupid ideas but I wasn't around when they had those so I'll ask my grandpa or something later.

I think it is a breathing mask, cuz the mask seals off the mouth. So they have to have oxygen, or whatever. The AE sligs have a new mask, that doesn't completely seal off the mouth, so they can still breathe. As for the attachment of the pants, i think the sligs hold it with their tails, and the bars on which thay do that respond on nerve-impulses from it...

Gluk Shmuck: If you look at Abe in AO he is blue and the Muds are green so it was easy to identify him. But in AE you'll notice he looks more like the other Muds. As for controlling the pants, AlphaScrab is right, the tail curls around a special nerve sensor that detects nerve pulses.

Kleeng: The pipe is a feeding tube like Oddling said. The pants have special internal pockets that holds a special seyrum, possibly a seyrum created by the Vykkers.

do sligs wear the mask because they breath a diferant gas to the muds and so on (like plants take co2)

Sligs do need masks to breath. If you've studied slig evolution, it says that sligs come from swamps that contain special gases that let them breath.

Ok if that is true then that answers one of my questions wild sligs only live in swamps. because without it they would not be able to survive. but then why was the original use of the because the glukkons couldnt stand to look at them.?

It says on Dear Alf that the visor type of masks in Abe's Oddysee only let them so straight in front of the, so they had to turn their head sideways or down to look at things besides straight in front of them. This caused many Sligs to walk into pits or meat grinders so they changed it to the other style. THATS why they did it. And yes we are kinda dumb but we can tell the difference between Abe and some other Mud! Slogs are the ones that can't but all Mudokons taste the same so they don't really care.

Kaimana: The original reason was that the sligs were so ugly, but the sligs lungs kept collapsing bacause they werent used to the air, so now the masks are for breathing, as well as ugliness.

No, there's quite a lot of room for air to reach a Slig's mouth when he's wearing his mask. If it were any tighter, it would cut off the blood supply to the tentacles.

Yep. Only now if a Slig wants to look directly ahead it needs to turn its head sideways anyway. Oh well, those Vykkers might get it right one day.
