an overzealous look at oddworld

oddworld is ten times the size of earth so it is probably a 1st or 2nd generation(earth is a 3rd generation planet I think). That theory would be enforced if there were say an extremely large volcano indicating a geologically dead planet. There technology is pretty interesting seeing as how far they've advanced in such a short time. Their machinery is amazing slig pants alone equal or top anything we have. vykker biology would be allot better without worrying about money. all other sciences seem to be lacking math astronomy physics all have no part in oddworld. Also there seems to be no sign of agriculture unless you call rounding up animals and killing them agriculture. And also seeing as they are all antoid I was wondering does anyone know why that worker ants are referred to as female when they cannot have pupae. If anything is wrong please inform me.

1) Worker Ants are not all referred to as female, as worker ants can be either sex. You are thinking of certain species of Bees, in which the workers are all female. The reason they are called female is that they ARE female, they are merely sterile. As an analogy, if you had your genitals chopped off, would you not still be male?

2) I know you seem fully aware of this, given the title of the topic, but it IS just a computer game... I doubt if even Lorne has thought about what generation Oddworld is...

3) There is a lot of agriculture, we just haven't seen it. Bear in mind what a tiny slice of Mudosian society we have seen so far: a few Factories and a couple of Villages...

Yep. You got WAY too much time. You just took that time and made a topic which proves wrong things and mistakes that Lorne has made. Anyway, good point.

Actually Oddworld has had a long history and probably has been around alot longer than our planet. Secondly in an interview with Lorne I heard him say that the tecnology we have seen on Oddworld so far is very, very old and that once we vist other parts of Oddworld that we will see tecnology that is far more advanced than the Glukkons and Vykkers.

Mudokons probably have a lot of agriculture. I don't think there's anyway to tell wat generation Oddworld is. It could be 1st generation or 100th generation.

More advanced technology? Cool!
