AO Movie Glitch

Hello there!
On my copy of Abe's Oddysee, there is a weird glitch. If you use the code to view all FMVs, two of the movies will now work: Abe's Moon and Guardian Angel. It will just show the startup movie (you know, the one with GT, then OWI, then the intro). I just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem, and what the Guardian Angel FMV is like.

Guardian angel shows a shrink talking to abe in his cell, and showing him scenes from the game, basically a commercial.

WHAT!? Is tha AO??? No, it cant be! There is no movie in AO thats name is Guardian Angel! Huh? EXPLAINE!!!

I think that the Guardian Angel movie wasn't in the PC version of Abe's Oddysee, but I don't really know, since I don't have it. It's definitely in the PlayStation version, though.

How dare thoose buggers not include ALL stuff for the PC version!? OWI hate PC! Thats why MO is Xbox exclusive!

Sorry Tex, but I haven't figured out how to fix it yet. I might try one of those CD cleaners soon, but I'm not sure if it will fix it. Does anyone know how to fix it? I am stumped.

I haven't seen that glitch before, but I used to have a similar glitch with the Abe's Exoddus FMV cheat for my PC version.

It didn't matter how much I tried, the code would not work. Nor did the level select code.

But I installed the game on my work PC and the codes worked with no problem at all. The same with my current home PC, I can use the two cheat codes with no problems.

It must have been something to do with the configuration of my PC that caused the cheat codes to not work. Although they did work for Abe's Oddysee, and I'm sure the Guardian Angel FMV was not included on the PC version.

I never got problems with codes...
and yeah The Guardian angel is not on the PC version

the exact thing keeps happining ta me and my friend Sean!!!I've seen picts of Gaurdian Angel and if ya didn't see Abe's moon(witch I assume ya did.)I'ts da one when Abe sees his hand on da moon and falls down the cliff and Big Face says he's dead yadayadayada.Anyway I don't know either how ta get the movies to work but I hope someone does soon!

Yeah... it's kind of irritating how everyone else has seen it and we haven't. I hope so too that someone will figure out a way to fix it.

PS: Yes, I have seen Abe's Moon.

You know, one way to get all movies is to compleate AO and save all 99 muds. Can't do it? Find a walkthrough.

But it works fine on my playstation and I haven't gotten all 99 Muds yet.

My old copy of AO was broken so I had to get a new one.

Don't bother trying to beet the game by saving all 99 muds! I tryed it and Gaurdian Angel still did'nt work

do you have it on PC or PS1?
if you got it on PC it's normal it don't work

In the PlayStation version of AO, sligs can't shoot things in the foreground if they're in the background. I really hated that. Following your logic, they also hate the PlayStation.
