I am happy to consider myself both. Well, neither, really, but with potential to be either...
As a side-note, in a debating competition at my college one time, Nicola Broughton (super-intelligent person with no life, you know the sort - every education establishment in the world has at least one Nicola Broughton) said "There is absolutely no evidence that Global Warming exists, and I say this as a Scientist.", to which Chris Moores (nice guy, clever but not arrogantly so, and still very witty and cheerful) stood up on a Point of Information, and said "I hardly think that your GCSE in Chemistry quite qualifies you to disagree with the Massachussets Institute of Technology..."
Needless to say, the room was in hysterics, and I would have felt sorry for Nicola if it weren't for the fact that she's a Tory Cow...
This had absolutely nothing to do with this topic, but it came to me as I found myself almost describing myself as a Scientist at the beginning of the post...
