Babe & Babe pig in the city

I dont know if any of you non Australians have heard of the movies, Babe and Babe pig in the city but i have just seen them both again. The last time i saw them would have been quite a few years ago, and it didn't make me feel the way i did this this time.

Now you could take these movies for a younger audience, but i beg to differ. I cant explain the feeling I felt when i saw some of the scenes from the movies (mainly Babe pig in the city) it just made me feel some certain way...

Im asking here if you felt the same way or felt something, or if you have seen it and would like to comment on it. I am mainly focusing on Babe pig in hte city in this topic.

I can say that i especially felt a way when the bound people where crueling treating the animsls the way they were when they were impounding them (removing them from the hotel).

And when felic was near death.

Alcar...

I agree...BPitC was a great film (How sad, lol) Especially when they were all singing in the Hotel. I did feel some discomfort and pity for the animals when they were getting dragged out of the Hotel...bless them.

Those were great films; I have them both on video. Did anyone read the original novel ('The Sheep-Pig' by Dick King Smith) on which the first one was based? I was quite impressed by how much the film stuck to the plot of the book; most book-based films seriously warp the storyline.

Interesting fact; in Middle-Eastern countries where the eating of pork is considered sinful, the film Babe was renamed 'Babe the Hairless Dog'.

Happy

I've seen Babe twice and I love the movie. Though, it's like all those annoyingly stupid Disney films for children...

EDIT: Ooo.. I love the mice, which come to say something stupid every now and then...
