Yeah, move this to off-topic, someone.
I like, in no order:
- Spyro series (have all 3 incarnations, highly looking forward to number 4 on PS2).
- Crash series (have all incarnations apart from 3, which I don't think is very good, an 4, which I have played and think is ace).
- WipEout series (have all incarnations minus the N64 version. Fusion rocks).
- MTV Music Generator (I love making music with these 'games'. I like my music, but no-one else seems to. I'm just too far ahead of my time)
- SSX Tricky (My current favourite game. It RULES! It's multi-platform, so GET IT!)
- Jak & Daxter (love it. Just love it).
- Pokemon (it's easy to hate Pokemon because of all the merchandise, and the godawful films and animated series, but the games are actually extremely good).
- Hogs Of War (it's basically Worms in 3D, with pigs, but it's hard to find a game that's this much fun these days).
- Escape From Monkey Island (damned funny. I hope to tack down its 3 PC prequels).
- Gruntz (puzzle/strategy/beat'em up/ PC game. Funny and fun).
- Zone Of The Enders (explode 'em up; scary but super fun).
- Soul Reaver 2 (haven't played it much, but what I have played, I've loved. It's very immersive and epic; it's not a pick-up-and-play game that you can have a quick go on to kill 15 mins).
- Klonoa 2 (haven't got it, but love the demo).
- Dark Cloud (ditto).
- Rez (ditto. Rented itand loved it as well).
- Bust-a-Move (one of the classics. Doesn't really make much difference which version you get, they're all the same).
- Snake
- Tetris
