A new design for Oddworldian?

I'm developing a new design for Oddworldian since the current layout has been up for almost a year now. A came up with a few ideas, and made a mock design of one of them. I realised that it just wasn't colourful enough, so I'm trying to develop something a bit more vibrant and energetic. This is what I came up with, but remember that it's not what I'm going to use:

Does anyone have any ideas, or should I just stick with the current, old Oddworldian?

I think the new design is too much grey, the actual design is better, is more enjoyable to look.. Oddworld is pure colour and I think the web would be plenty of colours

But...this is only my opinion

is the background pic of the main table suppost to just be a straight-foreward rectangle, or will you make it fade out l8r?

It's cool, but the Splinterz pic is too small...
I prefer the actual one...

Hello, Sydney. I like the new layout. It looks more "professional" then the current, mainly because of the lack of visual pollution. however, the colors aren't that good, actually, the gray background color was blinking in my screen(!)(I'm using a 1024x756 screen resolution). I looks great, you need just to make a few adjustments.

*Looks* *Thinks about it* Well, if you want my honest opinion, Sydney, I do like the older version better. This new one is just too plain... not much to it. Perhaps if you added a bit more color it would be more attractive?

Am I the only one who thinks the new version is better? *looks around* Ah, well, apparently I am.

Although it was a bit disconcerting when the page first loaded, and the background of grey stripes made the text hard to read. Once it had fully loaded, it was fine, however.
And I'm not too sure about that new Munch pic. He looks rather evil!

WAY WAY WAY! BETTER THAN YOUR OLD ONE, THOUGH SINCE YOU ARE UP FOR SUGGESTIONS I THINK YOU SHOULD PUT YOUR OLD VERSION. YOU KNOW THE WHITE ONE. I loved that one, i thought it was cool that for once there was a white oddworld fansite. So i decided to take off you and change the layout of my lame site!! PLEASE PUT THE ANCIENT VERSION!

The new one looks like a Newspaper....very cool. I don't have an opinion on which is better though (uh oh, Drag's neutrality is rubbing off on me). I agree that the new one looks a little more 'professional'.

Its way better, who cares about the grey, the layout, style and background are the best.

Its only my opinion but i think you should change it.
