Would you go to Oddworld if you had a chance?

If you had the coice of going to Oddworld. And leave everything behind (famely, friends, the forums, and everything) and then live on Oddworld, meet Abe, Alf, the Glukkons, try out the Brew...
And then never come back to tell about it. Would you go?

I would only go IF I could go when there is only 15 years left of my life... (unless I would be an old cenile bum). But the chooce when coice dosent count. You have to chooce now. (but sure youl get to say goodbye and stuff firts)

Ok, I voted, and I say no. Oddworld, portreyed by the games seems to me very bleak and boring. Personaly the atmophere from around the wilderness levels would make me want to puke if I was actualy there

Cities would be scum bagged, dirty and rotten, it reminds me of the Max Payne kind of place, which also makes me want to puke

It would more or less be the radical change in the enviroment, the setting around me is the kind I hate, reminds me of humid Sunday mornings, yick. In fact being in the enviroments in real life would at least give me a headache, then puke. The creatures would be interseting to see, but personly being in a rather uncivilized work enviroment I imagine the cities to be like, along with grudy creatures everywhere, personaly that would make me puke to. So the wilderness, blah, the cities, blah, cute little creatures, nice, and more or less a very bleak and radicaly different life style, blah. And whos to say the Vykkers wouldn't chop you up, eh?

I'd love to see native Muds as work and even Gluks, Oddworld is a beautiful place, not boring. And besides i know someone who's already been there.

I agree, it would be fun to go, but I'm sure you'll spend most of the time fighting off Evil Glukkons, who want to make a profit of this new species that suddenly appeared on Oddworld.

I would love to go to Oddworld! Teach the Inhabitants all about earth and then create a space ship and come back to earth with some guest!

Hey I just thought of something. What if OWI in the long distant future creates an actual simulated envirorment game of Oddworld? kind of like the holo deck on Star Trek The next Generation? And that envirorment will be like the actual games them selves. It could replace the game counsols. That would be so cool. No more controlers you are the character! Thats awesome. It could be a possible thing because OWI is all about an alive expierence and our teachnology is getting more and more sufisticated. We might actually end up with holo decks instead of game counsols. Who knows. But now it's only a dream.

How about virtual reality? Its not the holodeck but it could work and its a lot closer to the technology we currently have.
That would be something a full blown oddworld simulation!!!

If i went, i would learn the ways of the ancient muddokons. Learn the shrykel abilety. Punch Mullok. Hang out with abe, and swap oddworld-earth stories. Jump through wells. Punch Mullok again.

Yes, I think it would be cool to experience the life in oddworld. Maybe experience the everyday life of a free Mudokon. And on the other hand, I'd be willing to throw away my life to a slavery time of forever........

Hmmm... This was tough. My life on Earth has been great and although Oddworld would be truly amazing I would probably only go If after living half of my life here. I voted yes though.

Speaking of going to Oddworld how many people think that an Oddworld related theme park would be cool. I would have themed rides like Disneyland only more roller-coasterish. It would also have a "zoo" area full of electronic Oddworldian creatures. Rupture Farms Roller Coaster, Scrab-O-Rama, Vykkers Labs (it would be one of those tower things that drops from high up) and of course... the resturuants.

If I could go to Oddworld, I would only go if it was just a temporary visit, and I could go back anytime I want. IF I had to stay there for the rest of my life and never come back, I wouldn't go. I would miss my friends, family, and all of the other great things about Earth.

I just voted 5 seconds ago and I would do it.I am desprate to get away from it all and relax.Ofcorse it would only last 2.3 seconds until a slig comes and beats me up because I wasn't working.Like my friend Mike said I would "Be with my own people".Cause I am just an oddworld maniac!!So my reason to going to oddworld is that i want to reach innsanity somewhere that I like and not in a building where a Glukkon stands at the front of the room and calls herself teacher.
