The new logo isn't particularly great, but I'm all on board with story changes. Hopefully it won't just be AO rehashed like AE was.

Are we even calling this an AE remake? It sounds like they're taking the base concept of AE's story and going in a different direction, which I'm totally all for.

Lots of people suggested SoulStorm. Including Varrok.

And whilst I don't think it was a bad name, I was so convinced they'd go with Twice The Flavor if it was just going to be a NnT styled Exoddus remake.

Now I think about it. SoulStorm is a really good name for what they're doing with the game.

SoulStorm was the original name for Exoddus, so if they’re talking about an original story that they never got to tell it would make sense to go back to that name.

Twice ze Flavour would have been fitting if the game would remain in the happy cheery humor bright color setting that New 'n' Tasty was. But if they're really going with the dark setting, Soulstorm is a much better fit.

I think Soulstorm fits perfectly for the exoddus remake because soulstorm brewery is the main building that Abe needs to visit to get rid of the brewmaster.

Because I, as someone who has already liked, followed and whatevered the shit out of all their social media pages, can't do anything to make that little bar fill up quicker. Well, I could whore myself out on Twitter and tell everyone to like a page so I can see stuff faster, but I don't do stuff like that on principle.

Also it's just a fundamental misunderstanding of social media. You GET followers because you put out cool stuff people want to see more off. You don't ask people to follow you FIRST based on the promise that you will put out the cool stuff LATER. It's just... ugh.

I get that it's a tactic but it's a stupid one. If you want to go down that path just say "if you want to stay up to date, follow us on bla bla bla". Don't attach a progress bar and some arbitrary number to it.

If the system counts current followers, then that'd be great. But if it only accounted for new followers, then why not simply unfollow everything and re-follow?

I do agree it's a rather silly system. But it's there to build hype and it isn't the first time I've seen it. An example being Dota 2's prizepool at the International.

Also. We all pretty much knew it was a AE remake, but I'm glad it's confirmed.
