Whoa what the fuck let me test it out.

Edit: This is what I see in the Controller Layout menu:



And if you select Custom under Controller Type it's 100% remappable and I set movement to the D-pad to test it out and it works perfectly.

Oh and the button works OK too. I just clicked on it, and it just went backwards a bit like it's supposed to, and it went back to the previous menu.
