Issues covered/to be covered in the Quintology

The subjects OI have covered so far in the Quintology are:
Slave Labour
Animal Testing/Endangered specie

I personally think the next will be:
Rain Forest annihaltion
Evangelism
Zoo's

That would make 5 games altogether. (Jus' incase u dont know) Evangelism is were a priest or 'Religious' person goes onto the Tv and performs 'Miracles' sometimes asking for money and such. I could imagine that on OW. It would be a good part of the game to actually see a Evangelist in practice. Also, i think the Zoo's part would be a good one to see and is probably going to crop up at some stage in the Quintology.

Yea thats cool. I think there should also be an issue dealing with the Oddworld seas. Like an off shore Oil Refinery on Oddworld. Or maybe Something to do with Sea Rex Poaching. Kind of like Oddworlds version of Whale Hunting. That would be cool because I can see Abe and Munch or any of the other characters sneaking aboard a massive Oil Refinery and blowing it up. Plus I could see Abe and Munch or any of the rest trying to stoawey aboard a secret Glukken Sea Rex Vessel of some type and putting an end to the senseless poaching of Sea Rexes. The Glukkens could be hunting Sea Rexes for their fat to power their companys on land or the Feeco Trains. That could actually be possible since a lot of Magog technology is runned by burning fat. Not only Mud Flubs but Sea Rex fat as well. Or the Sea Rex could be a food product to the Glukkens who knows, just another idea!

I don't think there's been very much about pollution in Oddworld, not in the centre light anyway. Or it could go the Mario way and be about cleaning up graffiti.

Circuses, zoos, hunting and other animal rights issues - they all could be dealt with by Munch. And I too have thought that 'plant rights' might become involved - deforestation, GM crops USW.

As for religion, well, it would be interesting to see how OWI would integrate such an issue into Oddworld seemlessly.

PA's idea is actually a real good one and i do think that will come up in the future. Evangelism better come up in the future especially when Abe visits the city. I have got this image of this new creature performing 'Miracles' and then asking for money...on the other hand it could be a Glukkon.

I believe all will be dealt with before the end of the quintology. 1 and 2 are just too juicy to leave out, and 3 has only been touched on a bit.

Oh yes, organised crime. That should be where Octigi 0.2 comes in, if the rumours are true.

And some more issues:

• Tourism
• Imigration
• Corrupt government
• Has gambling been said?
• Health-related issues eg smoking, fast food
• More government issues: supplying arms etc.

And it's not really an issue, but I personnally would like to see our heroes dealing with the paranormal, possibly even paranormal zealot-type people. Would that come under 'Religious extremism' perhaps?

I could easily imagine the Slig Mafia. It'd be pretty funny to see Oddworld's version of Greenpeace as well. Oddpeace? Greenodd?
