You keep using that word.. I don't think it mean what you think it mean...

First off is a comment about the controls. If you're going to tell people in your little controller graphic that a button makes you jump, you shouldn't tell him everywhere else, and indeed, lead him into confusion, by making that button check your health.

Love the job guys. This game feels like the game I played as a kid. I haven't typically had the stamina to do a good old game sessions anymore, but I didn't feel any of that playing Abe. Finding the secrets felt fresh again, even though I already knew where most of them were. The bottle cap feature is nice, and I used it once before somewhat forgetting about it, until I was reading a suggested readthrough where they mentioned using the bottle caps, and realized the potential they had as a distraction.

The landscapes are rendered beautifully, and I found myself once again surrounded in the world I loved and and explored the first time through. The world was so alive, that it held my suspension of disbelief, and it really felt as if I was in the world I imagined the first time I played it.

A few glitches I noticed. I have yet to try regular steam overlay, but big screen mode's steam hud overlay did not stop the games input. I tried going through the menu, trying to chat with friends, only to find the game was still running.

The first cutscene had the word timing off. That really bugged my internal monologue as I kept playing the original lines in my head. I didn't notice it so much in the later ones, but as a first impression, on the most iconic monologue from the game? It was noticeable.

All those really don't do anything to lessen my liking of the game as itself. The controls are great, and the cutscenes are funny, the changes you added were alright in my book.

Now as for optimization issues people have been talking about, I can't speak on, as my computer is definitely on the higher end, and had no issues running the game on max settings.

Yeah, was feeling a little bit snarky. It's been a while since I've really heard the term spoiler used for anything that wasn't story related.
Nowadays I feel most game reviews that are considered "spoiler-free" have about the same amount of content. And anything story related can be blocked by tags xD. That being said, I'll follow the rules.

However, had Ireplaced "word" with "button" in my title, it would've worked just as well.
