This DLC sort of reminds me of Zulag 10 of Soulstorm Brewery, where you had to keep a single slig going as long as possible to wipe out multiple screens of sligs and turn off an electric gate.

Yeah same here, I thought he set up Alf's Rehab and Tea to help those hooked on brew, he even says in the good ending of AE "I had my first brew, when I was with Abe in a desert"

And the best part is, because this is new material, no-one can complain it's not as good as the original.
You have already made the dlc better.

Seems totally Alf, though. Essentially creates his own brew, gets addicted to the real deal, then starts a Rehab & Tea and won't let other people share, pushes Abe down a well yet won't follow because it's too high for him. Alf's a jerk I tell ya.

Well, there goes my theory! I don't know why, but I was under the impression the conspicuous door in the secret area added to Zulag 4 would somehow be the entry to Alf's Escape.

Regardless, great trailer, and I'm looking forward to the challenge. Are there any plans for more DLC in the future, or will efforts be refocused toward subsequent titles?

No new CGI, no. It's a self contained adventure and doesn't really warrant any story cut-scenes.

It would have. But people who paid money for the DLC might not have wanted to have to play all the way through to the end of the game before they can play it.

Did Alf hold some kind of tavern inside RuptureFarms?

In trailer description was written that there will be some suprises,so may be there will be some cutscene that will explain the Alf's story.
No cut-scenes.

Mainly just hinting at one part of the trailer that got cut at the last minute to leave a nice surprise in there for players who play the DLC.

One for the fans, anyway.

If Alf's Escape is the kind of DLC we can expect from future Oddworld games, I'll be very happy. Not a big fan of the pre-order costume thing (costumes should always be an unlockable bonus within the game itself), but this is awesome! Additional gameplay that stands alone from the main game is the way all DLC should be done.

I can't get over how gorgeous it looks. Playing the game for my 4th time in a row and (while my controller charges) I sit closer to the tv and pick up neat new details in every bit of scenery.

The screens look fantastic, will there be in game dialogue with Abe and alf? Apart from the usual hellos and follow me's?

But on a seriouse note, have you added Easter eggs in the game as a whole? I'm not sure if we've found them yet tbh I.e the elusive unique slig. Plz let is know if there are more but don't spoil the search ;P

1. Is it accessible only through the main menu, or is there a new door somewhere in the main game?
