Why do the game rolls you back to the last checkpoint instead of the fresher quicksave after death? I believe in AE it rolls to the newest save regardless the method of saving

I don't recall him ever using quicksave, I watched it up till he finished Stockyards, I don't want spoilers, sorry to lower the viewer count JAW!

He used quicksave near the end and died. A couple of times. Then he died again. And again. Man, this guy is good at dying in this game.

I couldn't resist and I had to make sure so I launched AE just to be sure. Yeah, it loads QSave. Well many things were probably not fully done on E3 preview, so it's gonna be fixed till the release.

In case you fuck up your quiksave, probably. Also, I believe they said Unity had problems with QuikSave so this may have been the solution.

Good stream enjoyed it a lot. Good to hear Stew and everyone answering questions for the fans

When abe chants,will the birds still appear above his head in hard mode? Looks out of place if there is no health for him. Regardless, it looks brilliant. The quality of a AAA product with out the big companies behind it. Great work guys

That could be it. I remember when I played big part of AE just with Quicksave, and then I panicked and pressed F5 before sudden death, and then all I could do is watch Abe die over and over again. No coming back.

Well that was interesting. Having 150-200k people watch the stream was cool, and it was good to see the stream chat going wild with hype, especially at the end when the stream finished. "SHOW US THE MOON SCENE OR WE RIOT!", but that just shows how much people are hyped for this. Mostly people were positive about the game - The negative comments were mostly nitpicking.

I was watching with the sound muted 'cause of reasons. Glukkons in the opening scene are comprehensible now? I'm loving the graphics and lighting, especially in stockyards. It's also cool that Abe now has the ability to sneak while crouching, and I like how mudokon locations and puzzles are a bit different too, it gives players who are familiar with the original something fresh.
