Happy The things you're most excited about

Whats goin on everyone! I Have been coming on here awhile now and only just now made an account! So yeah im just wondering what everyones most stoked about for new n tasty

I cant wait for the stockyards its always been my favorite atmosphere in the original and its looking like they have outdone themselves with this one. From the orange city-like light pollution to the guard towers. I simply cannot wait to try it out. Lemme know what you guys think!

Welcome!

I love deep stories so the thing I'm mostly looking forward to is the added tid bits of newish/repolished cutscenes.

Whilst I like the stockyard bits, I'm most interested in the temples, and the final runs you do in them. Hopefully they got the music right, because it really set the mood with the big hits whenever something dropped down.

I'm most looking forward to seeing Monsaic Lines. I'm also hoping that the transition between Rupture Farms and the stockyards is a bit more subtle rather than just BAM, rocks are now metal sheets, welcome back.

Erm, I'm kinda interested to see what they do with RF now, if they make it a little bigger or if they can grow that sense of scale that existed in the original.

I am excited to play with the screen scrolling. Though cut scenes might be a higher priority to me.

I can't wait to see the starry sky and the moons/planets in space. Hopefully they nail it as well as the original did.

Seeing everything in 3D, mainly the Stockyards and the wilds.

I agree with that, and hope they execute it better seeing as in the original they'd just stop when you're not being chased due to the way the music was organised, which kind of ruined some of the tension.

Apparently there were two proposed Molluck scenes but unfortunately they didn't have the time to fit into into the game.

Meh, let's not dwell on what's not in the game or what could have been and focus on what's actually in it.

Looking forward to the HD, full 3D graphics the most. And the ability to play it using an Xbox controller. That'll be nice.

...it's being released for 360, right?

The release date.

But seriously I'm most looking forward to Scrabania and Paramonia, I really hope they've completely changed it and added much more to it, they felt much too short in the original imo, especially Paramonia

damn. Well I guess I could play in on PC with a 360 controller. I had a feeling that would be the case though, what with Microsoft's treatment of OWI.

still, the nice graphics and maybe achievements/trophies/show-off points are what I'm excited for the most. And an opportunity to reboot the franchise.

I wonder if they'll be adding any new sections to the game like some other developers have done with their remakes (EG Pokemon Fire Red, Metroid Zero Mission, etc). either way I'll be happy.

It was never my favourite part of the original game, but it looks like they have absolutely nailed Paramonia. Can't wait to play that section of the game, truly looks stunning... especially in that most recent screenshot of Abe climbing up the wooden platforms. Absolutely spot on.

For me personally, I'm interested to see what parts they have modified, since Gilray stated that some parts have had to be changed to occupy the new scrolling camera.

Actually I have to admit I'm very curious to see how well this game will be received in general.

That, and see how much it can bring OWI back in the middle of the map.
