What makes you think they wouldn’t try to accurately recreate the sounds?

I don't know. OWI didn't try that or failed while doing so in the process of making MO.

Wil has already said that they're having them remade, though? Why even mention the pig sounds? They've acknowledged that they're going.

The sounds fit into the original game because everything was at that quality. It would stick out more in a different context.
