Come one, come all. It's that time of year again. Weird has gone AWOL, so it's fallen on me to have the pleasure of welcoming you all to the 10th Annual Oddworld Forums Poster Awards! This is a milestone!
Tonight we will be pitting our forumites against eachother in a gruesome popularity contest. Honors will be given to not only the Kings of Off-Topic, but also to the devoted Oddworld fans and those who still lurk in the Fan Corner.
At the end of the day I hope this can be a celebration of another fantastic year on the forums. It has been another strong year for Off-Topic, however we have also seen a resurgance of activity in Oddworld Discussion with news from JAW. We have seen footage of a new Oddworld game and Nate has finally posted his interview with Mr Lanning!
With no further waffle from me, it's onto...

Returning participants will be familiar with the drill, but we'll recap procedure for the inexperienced. You are voting for which members you think are more deserving of each title based on their behavior in 2012 (or otherwise as specified above). List your votes in this thread, or send them to me privately by email or private message. For each category you should vote for ideally one member, and certainly no more than three.
You don't have to vote someone for every category, but you cannot vote for yourself, nor can you tell anyone else for whom they should vote. Don't post updates of who's winning, you'll ruin the surprise for everyone else, plus you could be missing on the privately-cast votes. Breaking the rules will nullify your votes and render you ineligable to win any awards.
To some this may seem like a popularity contest or an arena for institutionalized bullying, but it's all done in the name of good honest fun. Don't feel bad if you don't get voted for something or anything: the awards bestow no tangible benefit on the winners. Except for extraordinary wealth and eternal bliss.
Now get voting before OANST gets cranky. Good luck!
