Dragadon's Pics 9!

I decided not to bother with digging up my old topic. Anyway...I got TONS (well not exactly...) of new pics! Here's the first three...

First up is a new critter I came up with that roams on the Great Plains of Mudos. It is a Celernex (which is latin for 'Swift Death'). These beasts are 24 feet long and 10 feet tall (the skull alone is 3 feet). These guys are hermaphrodiates(sp?) and they prey on just about anything that bleeds...

Next pic is a result of watching too much space based shows while on vacation (you know...Star Trek and the like...). These are Space Draks (yes...modeled after the my Drakkics...). This particular pair are Space Pirates. Bad arse peeps...BTW that sword the female is holding is actually a sai that turns into a katana style light saber when a button is pressed. (don't ask me how...I just thought it would be a cool effect...)

Yes...a sleeker and cooler looking me...don't worry I am the same coloration, you'll see when I do a colorized version

Cool pics.

The new Dragadon may look sleeker, but the older version kind of looked more friendlyer (SP), if you see what I mean.

Well I don't have to look friendly to be friendly ya know...
anyway...one more pic. Yes I know it ain't Oddworld..but it came about the same way as my Space Draks. I am normally no good at inanimate objects...but I did really well on this one...So I present...one of the fighter ships the Space Draks use...

Pif, no-one used to comment much about mine after a while... Anyway, I tell you in IM...

Besides, you can only say variations on "that's good" so many times (as people seem to have a physical aversion to nitpicking around here *scowls*).

Rach, do you not think you've gone kind of over-the-top on Drakkics? I mean, you've got billions of different kinds now, and they really aren't necessary... It's getting to the point now (to be blunt) where I just sort of switch off, thinking "Oh god, she's thought of another species of Drakkic"... I don't mean to be rude, but do you not think it might be time to move on?

Dan, the space draks are not related to the OW drakkics AT ALL, they just look like them. I am not even going to do anything with them...I was just fooling around with that pic. The same with the Celernex...save that they will be in Kye's fic. But they are not related either.
Sheesh...can't I fool around without being accused of creating another Drakkic varition!? *snorts*

Sorry that I haven't posted here sooner. Only to hit the spot, I absolutely like the space Drakkics! Their faces look striking (especially the female one). But the colors are missing *searches them*. I still have to think of the painted picture of Spider, it would be really appropriate when you colour them like this, then you'll wonder how many people will come to reply!

To the Space ships :

The shapes of them are very skilled drawn. There is nothing uneven. Wonderful! :O)
But a little bit of more detail would make them so hellish interesting!

Wouldn't it be boring when she draws the same Drakkics all the time, for every picture topic? I think it's fantastic that she can ,,fool" around with drawings. She has the freedom to draw Drakkics galore! Isn't it good that she shows us new, different and fantastic drawings in every picture-topic?

I can't draw so many Oddworld pictures, because my Pencil is still fixed on the comics we are working on. . .

Well, somebody has to be critical... The burden, unfortuately, falls to me...

Besides, I wasn't saying that she should stick to normal Drakkics, I was just wondering if maybe it was time to move on from Drakkics...

Let me put it this way Dan...
If I create a new species (sentient), chances are I will end up writing fics on it and completely stop writing the Drakkic ones, Which would mean even MORE fics for you to read *grin*. Trust me on this...that's what happened to my 'Moon Child' series...I created Spider then POOF! No more Moon Child fics...(I actually had one more planned...) and well...the Drakkic series took off. And I really REALLY want to finish the fics I have before, as you say, moving on...

Chiatsa: Same thing happened with the Saurian Isle fics...but I won't go there...

*growl*

Wow! I think that this is one of the first times I've been to this part of the forums, and am I missing out! Those are just AWESOME! You got da mad skillz w/ the cool beans and all the dice.

(I'm just making up crap because I'm so overcome with disbelief that any human being can be that imaginative). Keep them coming, and someday I might work up the nerve to disgrace myself in every artists honour.

Ok some more stuff for ya guys and gals.

First up is a couple of oddworldish species I thought up. The top one is a leech-like animal, the other is just a standard preditor, who I need to design a body for.

This next one is also a oddworldish species...a scavenger type of bird. Yes you are seeing the pic right...it's eyes are on stalks like a crab *grin*.

The last two pics I intend to colorize at some point...whether or not that will actually happen...*shrug*
