"The Superior Spiderman"? That's hilariously stupid. And I don't see why they need to end and reboot it with an awful name.
|
Not a reboot!

his socks look silly
...wait, they really ended Amazing Spiderman Series?!
|
yes. Here's how:
A decrepit, dying Doctor Octopus hatches one final plan: he tricks Spider-Man into coming nearby and switches minds with him. Peter Parker is stuck in Octopus' dying body as the new Spider-Man inherits all of his skills and memories and takes over his life. Peter still manages to break out of prison as Octopus and confront him, but ultimately fails to switch them back.
However, he manages to rewrite his and Doctor Octopus' shared memory to show the villain the true burden and legacy of the Spider-Man name, which Doctor Octopus accepts as his responsibility since he has now suffered everything Peter has suffered. So he promises Peter that he'll continue to be the hero that is Spider-Man, and Parker finally dies.
So yeah, Superior Spider-Man.
