Yes, Teal, you're right. First letter of each word. And, whether they're going there or not, I haven't decided. Maybe they will.
As the Scrabs ventured on, the voice became clearer and more defined. It was almost a high tenor voice, with several feminine characteristics. Finally, they came across a badly beaten rose-pink colored Glukkon. She was hanging upside down by her hands, with her legs tied tightly against her back. Her blue eyes reflected an expression of fatigue and pain. Upon hearing the Scrab's footsteps, she called weakly, "Help me. Get me down." Carobrite slowly wandered in a circle around the Glukkon, looking for a solution that would free her without injuring her. Daknar inspected an old, rusty control panel. All of the levers and buttons were rusted into place. He turned back, and said "Look, just cut her free! She's already injured enough." Carobrite took a few paces backward, charged, and jumped. Her nails cut through the rope binding the Glukkon to the ceiling. Daknar came over and cut the leg-rope using his teeth. The Glukkon shakily stood up and looked at the Scrabs. After about a minute of silence, Carobrite said, in the Gluk/Mud/Gabbit/Slig language (which I'll call "Oddworldish") "Who are you? Why are you here?" Daknar added, "And most importantly, where is 'here'?" The Glukkon waited before responding. "My name is Casella. I was found freeing Mudokon slaves. I was captured, kept, and tortured here, at the old RuptureFarms. I guess talking Scrabs are better than dying of starvation," she added quickly. The sound of mechanical pants reached them all at the same time. "Uh oh," Casella said, her voice becoming just above a whisper. "Come on!" Carobrite shouted. The three started running, Casella running clumsily at first, but she sped up as the survival instinct and her adrenaline started functioning at the same time. They ran through an open door, and outside. However, this wasn't the path leading back to the forest. The Slig pants were closer, now. "Oh, no," Casella moaned, "what are we going to do now?"
