New XBox controller confirmed!

Above is the brand new Xbox controller named "Controller S". The controller is a lot smaller than the standard pad and more similar to the Japanese pad. The most noticeable change is that the 2 top buttons have been moved under the A and B buttons so they are now more accessible. Controller S will hit the US on April 30th. No UK release is planned at the moment.

The kids that my mum childminds love playing on my PSone.
The poor litluns, they won't be able to use the massive Xbox controller! *is secretly happy about that but only a little bit happy* They can just watch!

i dunno if the japanese controlers work on da us x box's anyways i got a japanese controler yesterday so i dont have to play with the big one even though i hav big hands

it lookes alright but i like the one that i am using now. its nice and big, most controllers are uncomfortably small.

Looks kinda small... although I do get hand cramps fom playing JSRF too much with the old one. I don't like the B/W button placement. I think I would hit one on accident...

I like the current Xbox controller, it seems to fit well in my hands. Also I don't like the idea of the button positions changing... I'm used to the black/white buttons on top, as would most people who already have an Xbox. I guess if it was the first controller you had, it would be okay... but it'd be like if Sony switched the PSOne/PS2 buttons around.

I wonder if new units will have a choice of controller?

looks nice, doesnt ave that big annoying xbox symbol in the middle. the button changing is ok i guess, if its not that much samller itll be like perfect size, i probably get one to try it out, i think it may seem better. i mean, i havent felt my xbox controler for a while, its on temporary trade for a gamecube with a friend. but it looks nice.
