I love the design on Sekto's suit. And all the detail on Doc.

And there was also a Grubb one. I like Stranger, Sekto and the Grubb.

I also noticed they fixed it so that Stranger's undershirt matches his shirt in the opening. But isn't it green in all the other sequences?

Edit: Whoops. Forgot the Grubb!

Pretty close to the FMV quality really.

Also, won't everything being a head taller affect gameplay?

Yes it is. They are re-rendering the cutscenes though, although I doubt they’d be changing any details like that it’s perhaps possible.

I know you’re not serious, but the newer models are just bigger in the comparisons so you can soak up all that glorious detail.

They are amazing

I hope the animations for the characters will be equally realistic. The animations are really important. There's not much point in making the characters super detailed if the animations are crap and lifeless . Hopefully, the body movements will be realistic with proper physics.

Looking very good and a definite improvement over the older models - The extra detail looks awesome, especially on Sekto and the Doc. Stranger and both outlaws seem to have brighter eyes though, which looks a bit strange.

Well, it's coming closer:

:
To all waiting for Stranger's Wrath HD on the PS3, we will be submitting the final version to Sony in the next couple of weeks. When we have news of the release date we will announce it.

I personally think this looks a bit crappy.. The newer models are great, hopefully the chicken model has been touched up since this preview was posted

yeah I was thinking that. There's not much difference in the actual model. Just the textures really.

It could be better, but the model is a lot less angular - it's especially noticeable on the hat.

I don't get the point of posting 'compare and contrast' images that display the older models zoomed out and with muted colours.

Nate does have a point - The older models look inferior to the newer models, so making them seem duller than they actually are does seem a bit unnecessary.

What Darkhoodness said. Either what they're doing is unnecessary, or they're being dishonest with us. I'd prefer to believe the former.

They did. The original game was never that monochromatic. Bit of a cheap trick.

It’s not so much a cheap trick as a method of presentation, really—the background is grey, the older models are grey. It serves to draw your attention to the newer models, and it’s a visual indicator that one of each pair is being decommissioned.

It’s done for the same reason the newer models are larger than the old.
