Tim Schafer and company are hosting an event very soon brimming with promise. Sequels? New IP? We can't wait!
As you can see in the above image, Double Fine has a lot of business in store for gaming journalists on October 14. Will we see followups or DLC to games like Stacking, Iron Brigade (formerly Trenched) or will these be entirely new projects?
Unless there's an embargo on the info, we should have all the details for you guys on that Friday night.
What would you like to see out of Double Fine next?
Let the excitement commence! Hopefully it isn't the announcement of Brutal Legend 2 and 5 DLC packs for it.
Woo, this got me excited! To be honest, I'd really like a sequel to Brütal Legend. Even though it was a disappointment for me, it was still a good game. Also, we still haven't got Trenched in Europe...
Agreed with that, Brutal Legend was fun but could've been so much better - If there is a sequel, it had better be a more polished and refined game than the first one was.
Hopefully they'll be announcing Psychonauts 2. Maybe the small update and promotion they recently and unexpectedly gave to the PC port of the first game is significant somehow.
It's not going to be a sequel for Brütal Legend. As far as I've heard, it didn't sell enough to justify what it cost.
One of these will probably be Once Upon A Monster. I'd bet money on DLC for Iron Brigade, given that all their other downloadable games so far have had DLC. Probably one or two more iPhone games. Hopefully Android games as well. Other than that... no idea.

Spending as long as I do here, it's easy to forget that Oddworld has actual fans.
Oh and I forgot to mention, this could be one of the things:

Our communication hasn't been great because we're SUPER BUSY working on a DLC pack that is stuffed to the gills with awesome new stuff. How do you feel about a cannon whose shell sticks around after detonation and collects Scrap for you? IT'S COMING!
