RARE Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee Press demo game

Hi everyone.
Noticed on eBay someone selling a version of Oddworld that was used at the E3 Press conference. It is an unifinished version of the game. Its quite expensive, but looks interesting.

Can anyone tell me what is contains? I was thinking of buying it, but I have a PS1 demo of Abe and I have a feeling it might be the exact same thing as that.

An unfinished demo should not go for that much. If it was an unfinished beta of the entire game then the price wouldn't bother me. Hopefully some hoarder doesn't get it.

I have small feeling that it will be just demo that everyone is already played...

I don't think it is, I can't make out the writing on the cover but I think it's just RF beta.

Seeing as Alf's been around lately, he might be able to shed some light onto the differences between this and the demo we all know if there are any.

Perhaps Lorne (or whichever inhabitant is behind Alf) may be slightly annoyed that something they gave out for free is being sold for a ridiculous price.

I don't why, but it annoys me when people do that. I wouldn't mind if someone resold something ten times the original price you bought it for, but trying to make a quick buck off something you got for free seems dirty.

And that's why dividing by zero is impossible.

Given the chance I'd love to make thousands if there was some ugly vase hiding in the attic of my house, I'd charge a ridiculous amount if I knew I could get it.

I think I have that. I never had the full version on PS1. I have my version on PC.
But I swear I have that same unfinished Demo.

It's probably identical to the AO and AE demos you could get off of Oddworld.com back in '98-'99. They were about 30mb each IIRC.
