It's Doublefine's new game.

Too early to judge, but it certainly looks interesting.

It's a bit like a really weird version of Hitman. Creep up behind someone, take them out and use their appearance to move around.

It's not indie. It's by a professional developer and is being published by a mainstream publisher.

But it's wierd and quirky and looks like it has great design. Plus, it's by Doublefine.

Just so everyone knows, this won't be coming to the PC, and nor will most DF games for the forseeable future.

Doesn't bother me that much because I have an Xbox 360 and I'm pretty sure they'll release the upcoming games for it.

Correction: There are no current plans to bring it to PC but if they sell well enough, they'll do the port. It's exactly the same situation as Deathspank and that's available on Steam right now.

True, if it sells well enough, but let's face it, it won't. I don't forsee a future where this game brings in enough money to make porting worthwhile. And I quote:

:
We have much of the technology in place to produce PC versions of all these games, but there is still some more work required ... and that costs money. So far, our publishers have not elected to fund that work ... because they don't see enough financial reward. Double Fine does ... always push for a PC version, and will continue to do so in the future. If we ever get super stinking rich here, with enough money to fund PC versions of our games, then we will go back and make them ourselves.
It's going to have to sell pretty damn well to pay for a port without backing by publishers.

If it sells fairly well (but not necessarily pretty damned well), then the publishers will fund it. If they see that they will likely make a profit from the PC port, you'd better bet they'll fund it.

Eh, seems kinda like that old Scrapland game on Xbox.

However I'll ignore all flaws just for that awesome clack noise they make when popping in and out.

Personally, I don't understand the concept of a 'Quick Look' that's almost half an hour long, but whatever. It's a Giant Bomb video, which means that the hosts are freaking annoying, but on the plus side, the visual style is amazing and the game looks like it's gonna be fun.

2 minor observations:

This is clearly supposed to be Victorian or early Edwardian England, yet the main chacters still say 'Mom' rather than 'Mum'.

Holy shit, there's finally a game character with my name. I have waited so very long for this moment.

Apparently, Stacking is now out and it's gotten a lot of good reviews.

It's 1200MSP. I might get it if it's on sale in the future, but currently, I don't have any MSP.
