I'm still not sure if I like the idea of redesigning some characters. I like them the way they are now, and having a different version is simply going to be confusing.

Don't re-master old stuff, make new stuff.

Those Paramites are terrible, they look like larvae. Woolly Sligs, on the other hand, could be interesting.

Am I the only one who thought "pig's hair" just meant some short, fine hair with the skin still visible underneath?

but just look at a slig, no hair, just skin, its not a mammal (what ever the oddworld term for mammal is), its kind of like a reptile, but i can see how it could have fur, being a mix of pigs and shit.

I would find it upsetting to see creatures redesigned after having known them for all these years. That's what took me off Crash Bandicoot, when they redesigned everyone and it just didn't feel the same any more.

Sligs could work with fur, not poofy or anything but the kind of soft pig fur might give them a more detailed look.

Yeah I think sligs with thin fur would be fine, maybe they'd be another breed of sligs. I never really thought of them as reptiles just because they have green skin. But reptiles,mammals I think are not really classifications for any of the creatures in Oddworld since they're not real anyway.

I don't think Sligs would suit fur. Maybe some light, wispy hair in places (think human arms), but nothing as thick as pig hair.

They wouldn't be going for cute piglet fur. Sligs would have the ugly kind, the thinly spread course stuff that feels like a cross between a man's leg and a Brillo pad.
