Actual thread: Europeans whining because (as we all know) Europeans have absolutely nothing to be proud about, as it's pretty much all their fault. 'it' Being anything bad that happened in History ever. Before 1899.

Canada is the best country in the world. Why? Because we're best buds with the United States and everyone across the world still loves us. We're pretty much as culturally diverse as you can get, we're the second largest nation (by land mass) and our forests and grass and all that hippy shit are at least 10x prettier than what Russia has, the big feculent bulldog that it is.
We have lots of jobs, our gun-violence is something in the area of a billion times less than everywhere else, we accept immigrants and refugees by the bushel and most of our homeless are pretty long-lived.

Oh, and if you try anything. Anything against us. The US will stomp your neck in, simply because they could not survive without us.
Oh, and if it wasn't for us World War II would have been lost. Specifically us.

That's how to be proud of your country, you flapping vaginas.

Oh, and we have more oil than we know what to do with.

i fucking love England. i love the people, the (shit) weather and all the moaning. i love our sense of humour and generally the bleakness of this little island. i don't know why, but i fucking love it. i wouldn't move out of the UK, ever. that may seem crazy, and i may change my attitude as i get older, but for the time being i may as well enjoy it while i still appreciate it.

i might just be on a high at the moment, but i fucking love Blighty. who can escape from any German POW camp? WE CAN YOU FUCKS

I have no country to be proud of really... I was born in Romania, but I live in Denmark. But I don't feel connected to either. It's kind of a sad existance, cos I don't feel I have any nationality. *sniffle*

There are fleeting moments when I'm proud to live in Australia. Then again there were those moments when I lived overseas too.

I prefer the method the majority of the English handle 'patriotism' (as mentioned by BM). I'm appalled at the larger-than-should-be patriotism in Australian and the US.

I'm 100% Northern Irish and I hate the North and the South. It's pretty hard to feel proud of a country where the residents flat out have a go at each other for their political stances.

I would say religious stances but that truly is not the case.
