Super Meat Boy was released on Xbox Live Arcade just a while ago and it seems very addicting and fun. If you don't really know about it, here's the teaser trailer for it:
Also, what are people's opinions about it? Has anyone on these forums bought it yet? I'm 70% sure I'll end up buying this sometime, but not for the next week or so, because I'm so gonna buy RDR - Undead Nightmare and Costume Quest!
It also got some pretty damn positive reviews like GameSpot gave it a 9.5.

If it's a rather long game, I'd buy it. It looks great. If it's a short game, I'd only buy it maybe 2nd hand if it's really cheap. I really like action and puzzle plat formers, though that doesn't look much like a puzzle game, I was referring to AO and AE there. I think I like plat formers more than the 3D games.
Forgive me if you already new of this but I figure the best way for you to get an idea of what Super Meat Boy will be like is to play the prototype; Meat Boy.
Personally, I can say that you are correct. It's very addictive and very fun. Feels great to complete it too.
Yes. We get it. You played Meat Boy. That's great. But claiming that you played Super Meat Boy because you've played Meat Boy is akin to claiming that you've played Super Mario Bros. because you've played Mario Bros.
I may buy this on Steam if there's a demo. I'm currently struggling to see the distinction between this and normal Meat Boy. And much as I love to be told what to like by other people, this isn't really the right kind of game for a Let's Play.
He is pretty adorable though. I might pretend to like the game just so I can fawn over the character.
I'm having a hard time getting used to the weight of Meat Boy. He controls very differently from the N+ ninja and Splosion Man. That's not a bad thing. It's just that there's a learning curve there.

I hope 'Splosion Man comes to Steam. That's a game that immediately appealed to me.
Probably what you saw is that they offer the ability to map your abilities to the buttons that you want. Which is a joke because every button makes you 'splode.
