I remember we had a thread for these ages back.

See, ya problem there is a good motivational poster needs to be about a value, not an object. Like a poster with 'Consistency' will aim to encourage you to be consistent, or 'Practice' will aim to make you practice more. obviously these can be parodied but putting 'Paramites' is a bit of a dead end.

Still, I guess I can hardly talk when this is about as good as I can manage...

I also remember there was debate about what a motivational poster was.

Carnix (who started the last thread, I believe) wanted internet meme posters, whereas others posted motivational posters in the sense of "Hang in there kitty!".

Actually; it was me who created the thread, AlexFili not quite understanding what we meant by a motovational poster, me trying to explain, Carnix arguing on one side, Molluck's Assistant on the other, and AlexFili eventually giving up and making peace - while still slightly missing the point.

Yes, I remember it as if it was yesterday. The failure of one of my first threads is still seared into my memory.

I believe I stepped in, told everyone to stop arguing and start posting motivational posters and then faded subtly back into the wallpaper. To be honest, I probably would have missed the point of the whole meme if the headmistress of my high school hadn't had the real things stuck up in every corridor.
