The Soul...
(OOC: This is my other Character...Injin, find out more about him in the thing that describes him. Also this takes place a couple of dayz after the downfall of Obitus!)
Four Black Reptilians are running through a dense woodland. Three of them are the hunters and the other one is the hunted.
Reptilian Leader: "Goooz...chaseee afterz him!"
The leader hissed these words and stood on his hind legs to see better. His snout twitched as he smelt the air and he held up his wooden stick and howled his scratchy screech.
Ingin looked over his shoulder. He saw Two giant Reptilian guards running towards him on all fours. He panted and carried on running. He heard scratches of claws on bark and knew straight away one had taken to the tree's, with a snarl he carried on running and tried to speed up. He heard branches rustling and twigs snapping above him and he snarled...the Reptile would jump down soon and bring him to the ground. Up ahead he saw the tips of tree's and immediatly realised there was a steep fall. He smiled and realised this was his chance to escape. He gave it his best shot and bounded towards the edge but was brung down by a heavy force on his bak. His front legs gave way and he fell into the dirt. Getting a mouth full of soil as he did.
Reptilian: "Gotttcha-aa-a. Nowaz u see-e the true one himselfzz..."
Injin growled and flexed his tail, making it wrap around the creatures throat. He pulled hard and dragged it off, with a twinkle in his eye he leaped off and spat the soil out of his mouth. And turned to see another bulbous figure running towards him. It snapped its jaws and saliva flung out of its mouth. Injin did not wait any longer and turned and carried on his run to the cliff edge. Finally he came to it and stopped. He looked over the edge...it was steep. And there was a few jagged rocks lining the actual cliff face. All he had to do is to fall into one of them an...he was rudly interuped by a force grabbing and pushing him. It was the 2nd Reptilian, it had not realised there was a cliff and attempted to pull Injin to the ground...unfortunatly pushing him off. Injin squealed and thrashed his arms about wildly, trying to grab onto something, he failed in this task and was fell down ward. The Reptilian that grabbed him also was shocked and let go straight away, attempting to break its fall with its four strong legs. Injin fell for what seemed like hours before coming to a abrupt stop. He landed on his left arm and cringed...he swore he could hear the bone actually break. He stood up on his hind legs and turned around. The creature who pushed him had a broken neck and lay there with the bone potruding from its throat. Its foot twitching slightly. Injin snorted and then turned and ran south ward were he could smell a commune, water and most importantly food.
***************************
Back at a derelict Mudokon temple the 2 of the 3 Reptilians sent on the hunt came back. Where the pews once stood, bold and proud, they were now shattered and broken. Tooth marks and claw marks lay on the remaining wood. A big mirror stood on the opposite side of the room. And Reptilians scattered about the temple. Howling and screeching with delight and some chittering amongst themselves. They were everywhere. Even on the window sills that were high in the large temple. Some were down in the floor boards snapping up stray Rats that stray from there hidaways. At the end of the long aisle way and next to the mirror there stood the main leader of the group. His eyes red and beady he shook his head in shame as he saw the 2 creatures walk in empty handed. The creatures hung their head low and approached the mirror. Walking up the steps towards it. They bowed their heads before the large mirror (Which was bigger than both of them) and kneeled on one knee before it. Ripples formed in the mirror and electricity rushed around the silver frame that held it. The ripples became more intense as a black claw exited the mirror. It was long and covered with black scales. The claws were sharp and very long. A arm followed the claw and then turned. The 3 toed claw out stretched gesturing it to be taken and held. The first creature did so and placed his hand within the annomynous claw. Slowly he was led closer to the mirror and then dragged inwards. His body disapeared inside it, only ripples showing that he was there a second or two ago. Electricity ran through the ripples. The onlooking Reptilians screeched with laughter and clapped their paws together as if it was a ball game or a concert. The 2nd Reptilian then stood up and walked to the same position as the 1st and awaited to be dragged inwards. This happened, but a little more roughly, the claw appeard again, but instead of being held out went for the throat and dragged the creature in that way. Ripples again formed but then ceased as the mirror resumed its natural look. The creatures again screeched and howled with laughter. But then realised how serious their job was...their job to get the soul of Injin...
