This has been sitting around on my computer for days just waiting to meet you. Finally got a chance to upload it.

Sorry, GIFs are not of the best quality, and I'm apparently lacking skills in drawing hair, but hey! I did it!

So, Crashpunk, any news on the background? Or would you rather I got of my lazy arse and fulfilled my own requests?

Well I was planning on having the cut-scenes in chronological order, from the beginning of AO to the end of AE. If you would like to do this bit for me you're more than welcome and I'll duelly give credit within the final product.

I encourage you to be imaginative and only have a few requests:

Firstly, it's important that this bit fits with the soundtrack. I'll send you the file I'll be using (Caramelldansen Speedycake Remix). I advise you to put this soundtrack into the video file so that you can fit everything to the music with relative ease.

Also I would appreciate it if you included the clip from the AO intro sequence where it scrolls past all the Glukkons and the clip further in the same game with Abe showing off his Shrykul form. This will encourage me to make every Glukkon and the Shrykul doing the caramelldansen.

If you succeed you will have shortened my production time greatly and I thank you humbly.

I could but, as the framerate is set to be in tempo with the Caramelldansen Speedycake remix, I probably won't. Is it important?

I can't make any more progress until I have the background display to work on. But there's no rush, make sure what you send me is something worthy of the job. Quality over speed on this one. So take all the time you need.

i haven't heard from Carnix about the Caramelldansen in a while so i think he might of given up.

But do not worry I'm going to work on my own Oddworld Caramelldansen again starting out with a Slig so stay tuned to my channel!

I got the cutscenes bit but i don't know what to do with them. can you give me an idea.

To be completely honest, Crashpunk, My only problem was that simply playing the Caramelldansen with cute dancing animation would never do this project justice. I need a pre-made (by you, hopefully) animated backdrop that I can layer the animations on that might make this project half decent.

The suggestion that you recall and question about is that the backdrop may suffice to be official clips from various oddworld videos. Either you or I could add some funky flashy lights and colours to them and I could simply display characters in the clips as anime caramelldansing animations. All this requires from you is the compiling of various oddworld clips fitting to the song, think of it like a music video, with potential flashy colours included.

If you, or indeed anyone, can be bothered to achieve this, I may be inspired to finish this project with their help. But, as the inspiration won't exist until then, I'm not pushing for it.

Okay i get you. i can't do Flash so would it be okay to make it as a video then you convert it?

And i have an idea for the backdrop. the cut scenes playing with changing colours. possible like that effect on Windows Movie Maker?

Tip: Avoid Windows Movie Maker. We had 5 mins of footage that was 1Gb in size after my uncle ran it through WMM.
