Was it the Mudomo Vault music that was pretty much some weird-sounding bells ringing?

Only to the Hignorant.

The scrab chase was truly epic. I tried to transcribe it for cello and percussion, but gave up due to the odd rhythms. The free fire zone music was really creepy, and I love it!

The Scrabania music is some of the best game music ever. But nothing holds a candle to Forest Boss AAAA! from Super Meat Boy.

Escaping from the Stockyards into No Man's Land and hearing the opening theme is epic.

Also the Scrabania music really makes you feel like you're on a long desert pilgrimage.

I know it's not very long but I always liked Munch Chair Groove, that's when he's being taken the operation room. If you listen to the voice about 10 seconds in, I THINK it says "If you can see bright light..." implying your *Under the knife* Which is what the cut scene is called. That's what I think, maybe it's just me, using my imagination...

If your looking for more ways to enjoy Oddworld AND music, check out the links in my signature, I think you'll like them but as no one ever watches them I can't say for sure

Huzzah for me remembering that I'd actually asked this of Alf, back in the day:

:
Q: In the intern's groove music, what are the lyrics being sung/chanted? - Nathan Alf Rocks!

Alf: He rocks! He drinks tea, he answers silly questions, and...
He rocks!
Chorus
He Rocks!
Oh yeah, he rocks!
Alf Rocks!
Well, that's what I hear, anyway. You probably heard: "If you could save my life I'd meet you at the lightpole, baby."
That, of course, was before I'd legally changed my surname from 'Alf-Rocks' to what it is now.

Everything in AO, really, especially the Free-Fire Zone, Monsaic Lines, Scrabania and the temple thereof. The score to the FMVs is also brilliant, so uniquely Oddworld. I loved the AE music as well, except maybe the Brewery theme --- I didn't find it as atmospheric as the rest. But maybe that's just me.

FeeCo Depot and definitely the Slig theme. Can't remember if they're all that same, but all in all it's just a simple beat of drums with a creaky 'aaaarg' here and there. It starts playing once you possess a slig.

Call me simple, but I have a soft spot for the barely-audible beats at Rupture Farms.
I also love the chase theme from AO (I have it on my iPod, no joke.)

Slig Barracks is also extremely catchy...

All the Abe's Oddysee tracks. And the AE ones are nice too. Though to be honest, I just don't feel the same way with the AE tracks as I do with AO anymore.

God...I remeber it as if it were just yesterday..
Two years ago I think..

On my last camping trip, the last starry filled night before we were gonna pack up and head home, I was listening to the Free-Fire-Zone non stop while the rest of the family talked by the fire. The way the music captured the beautiful atmosphere was just too incredible for words. There was a tall tower on the other side of the lake that had a red light that would blink slowly every few seconds. It went very well with the theme's beat as I watched it from a far, lost in my own Oddworld..
Free-Fire-Zone and the AO credits will always remain my absolute favorites. Scrabania is my third fav.
It almost breaks my heart when I listen to the Free-Fire-Zone..
I can't help but to picture the beautiful night sky with the real crickets and OW sounds in my ears that night..

I would say...ALL of the Stranger's Wrath music! It sounds like a MOVIE, which is sweeet. I've never actually played it, but I've watched the entire game on YouTube. I like it.

Is it sad that I often listen to the AE soundtrack while browsing this forum?

Since my computer with all my music has expired and my Playstation is going through its "don't like CDs" phase, I can hardly recall some of them, especially the AE tunes.

But of those I do remember, which also have the highest play count on my iTunes, they are Scrabania, Scrabanian Trials, Monsaic Lines, Stockyard Escape, Fighting Outlaws, Fight for the Native Village, Stealth, Journey Upriver, and any part in the AO movies where Bigface is pulling his most mystical of mojos. You know the bits I mean.
