So...Rapture Farms

Pretty awesome game and it's one that my opinion can't be swayed on, (unless gameplay/soryline deteriorates) and I wanted to know what you thought on it.

EDIT: used made me realise with that post of his that this thread is actually vague so without further ado...

Bioshock 2, pretty awesome game and it's one that my opinion can't be swayed on, (unless gameplay/soryline deteriorates) and I wanted to know what you thought on it.

I've heard mostly good things about it recently. However, I've heard that the voice acting and story are nowhere near as good as the first game. I still think it's going to be a pass for me.

Oh shit, I thought you had posted "RUpture Farms." Sorry for my shitty post.

Unfortunately, I've never had the pleasure of playing Bioshock at all.

No-one, male or female, cares :P...I actually think that the voice acting was pretty believable and even where the story lacks, it makes up for good gameplay.
The only thing I have a problem against is the online multiplayer...it works on paper but in reality it's horrible.

For me Bioshock WAS the story, the gameplay was merely a drive to carry the fantastic presentation along.

I don't think I'm too impressed in a drop in story quality.

Yeah. I didn't play it to shoot bees out of my arms. I played it so I could pretend I was killing Ayn Rand.

This. I didn't play Bioshock 1 because I like FPSes; frankly they make me nauseous. Given that the reviews I've read have stated that the story is sacrificed to make it a stronger FPS, I think I won't bother.

Also, I've heard that there are a lot more enemies and the fights are a lot more frantic. What I liked about the original was that the enemies were intermittent and I could mostly fight in a melee style using plasmids and the wrench. So that's another point against.

Got the game today, its been great so far and the fact that it runs on my laptop is fairly awesome, but it is definately more action oriented, sneaking by and meleeing from behind is pretty much impossible.

Still, I'm a little disappointed that all the splicers now carry a bunch of rivets in thier pockets, and that there is such a thing as "trap rivets", which could have no real world use.

Want to rent it, won't buy it. Heard it was generally meh, the multiplayer was nothing special, the the ending was shit.

I've never played Bioshock. I've never watched Bioshock. What is Bioshock, anyway...?
