Mars: Why would you hate jews? Out of all the christ-based monotheistic religions, theirs is probably the only one I can stomach. Do you also hate Robin Williams? Hank Azaria? Jack Black? They're all jews in case you didn't know (or at least were at one point in their lives).

As for catholicism, I tend to stay away from that whole mess. I've only had to deal with a few christian extremists in my life, and I couldn't tell you if they were actually catholic, protestant, or what. I follow some very basic rules in regards to all religions: don't preach to me, don't try to "save" me, and don't pick an argument with me about why evolution is the work of the devil because you will lose. If you can be tactful enough to keep your religion off of me and my genitals, then you're already on good terms with me. I only tend to dislike catholics (or any religion) as a whole when they do something outrageous like burning down an abortion clinic or jumping anyone dumb enough to walk home alone after a night at the local gay bar.

Secondly, I too believe that zealots are an evil sub denomination of christianity but note that there are very few zealot groups incorporated with the Catholocism branch! When do you go to London and see the Greaitaii or Smyrnian Zealots walking around London with swords and guns killing anyone who does not renounce there athiest ways!

On another note, yes there are disgusting priests and clergymen that have molested children in the past but then there are accounts in all Abrahamic religions and Eastern ones as well!

Of course I must also write that ithout God none of you would exist and the fact that Biblical texts contradict themselves is not entirely true, if, like me you can place your hnd on an important object and say - "I have read the bible front to back" then you will know that there are more than one meanings for most of the book, there are poor translations from hebrew and latin to English, remember a church that can control what the origional texts are has more power! We are talking 13th century on here.

Then there is the fact that God is testing us all by making it hard for us to follow him, only the true believers will stick his cause!

90% of Christmas's practices (christmas tree, gift exchange, feasting, etc.) are actually pagan in origin. It's all based around the winter solstice and was celebrated long before Europe even heard of Christ. Christ was definitely not born on December 25th, so any justification of Christmas being holy pre-Constantine is baseless.

Not true. The date of Christ's birth is uncertain, but it is likely not the 25th of December. They were already festival days for Pagans (Yule) and Romans, celebrating the rebirth of the Sun and the lengthening of the days. Basically, when the Priests were chatting the whole Christianity gig over with Roman officials, the Romans said 'Well, a lot of our culture depends on that festival. Can't we just keep that but rebrand it as the birth of Christ?'. Naturally the Romans were in power so they won.

Of course I must also write that without God none of you would exist.

Not really a valid argument to Atheists, plus isn't that also support for any creationist religion?

I get really angry when people graffiti their religion or country on something. I often pass a structure that has great big graffiti that reads "Islam", which really pisses me off. Not very much against the whole religious area, but when it feels like they're "marking" our land, it irritates me.
