My worst injury? Well, I think it was a sprained ankle. You know these invalid cars that old folks drive around in? Well, I have one of them. My dad used it when he was ill with his Cancer. Me and my cousin were messing around on it. I was sitting on the back, and wanted to get off, but he wouldn't stop, so I tried getting off while it was still moving. My foot went under the wheel upside down whilst I was still sitting on the buggy, so my ankle got sprained. I'm suprised it wasn't broken, but I couldn't walk for a few days.
My second worst injury that I remember was one incident about two years ago where Friday, my pet cat got some mechanical grease on his tail somehow. We washed it off with water which he didn't mind too much, but then my mum had the really dumb idea of drying him off with a hairdryer. You can guess what happend. :S Anyway, I reviced a few cuts, but I got this small, yet really deep gash on the back of my right hand which I still have the scar from.
My most recent big injury was a few weeks back when I was helping my sister and her boyfriend get a large dead tree from the nearby wood. I was helping them carry it back since it was very heavy, and when we put it down, I accidently dropped it on my knee. Got a graze and a briuse in the same place, and it kind of hurt for a while.
Other then that, I have had a few various minor injuries over the years. I seem to be prone to small burns for some reason. Anyway, I haven't ever broken any bone in my body, or ever been stung by a bee or a wasp. Being careful and using causion has its advantages. I don't tend to hurt myself that often (unlike online in MSN chatrooms where hurting myself for some silly reason is a daily occurance).
Speaking of injuries, my pets have suffered too.
Capricorn, my pet goat, has had a couple of bad injuries. The first one is where a small terrier dog attacked him because he butted her as a puppy (It was a revenge attack). He suffered a cut on his neck (which dripped blood for a long while) and a cut on his foot. He also sufferd shock. The second one that I know of was far more serious and happend more recently. I don't know actually what he did, but we think he fell into a fence or something. Anyway, he got a HUGE gash down the side of his upper right front leg (near the shoulder). VERY deep flesh wound. He was in shock when we found him stadning outside near the door in the early hours of the morning. It took a very long time for it to heal, about a month. It would of taken much longer if we hadn't poured Tumeric into his wound every day. Tumeric works EXTREMELY well one wounds. It get rid of germs and helps the wound heal quicker. Amber powdery spice normally used in curries that isn't known offically for it's medical properties.
Tumeric also worked on the cat. Ocelot, one of the kittens, had a mozzie bit on his back near his shoulder blade. He kept scratching it and it got so bad that it spread all over his back and to the bottom of his neck. A very painful looking wound oozing with puss. We had to put a jacket on him made out of toilet roll and duck tape, which we taped to him using masking tape so he woudn'tt scratch it. Took ages for it to heal as well. Now part of the fur on his back will never be straight again.
As for my friends and family, Mactus's worst injury is a slow one. Wrestling really does take the wind out of him. He's badly bruised his ribs from repeatingly being thrown on the ground.
As for my mum, she got badly scolded when she knocked over a boiling kettle. That was ages ago, and I know of no other injuries.
GTG! My roof is leaking near the monitor agaim!
