on a visit to Oddworld Maniac, i noticed these pics:



i think they look like Media Player plug-ins...can someone tell me whether they are ,or not, and where/if they're available
...also tell me if there are any other plug-ins available...

from what i've heard it's the most stable operating system Microsoft have made...
but if you change your hardware and you need to re-install it you'll need to buy another copy...

since that's being shipped with it, i'll have to check the price of it...and see if i ca afford a copy or 2 a year...

I don't know...Stable Windows is kind of an oxymoron, (even tho i'm on it right now). my fear of Windows is fighting my love of munch (the game. sicko.)...

A stable windows? I didn't know stables had windows. I just thought they were a place to put horses.

That's an interesting concept. What sort of 'specifications' does it have. You'll have to explain it, I'm computer-term deaf. I just wanna know if I can use it.

XP stands for eX-Paper clip, as far as i know, it's named after the latest version of MS Office which is apparently so simple you don't need Clip-It, your paper clip assistant...

basically, the whole of the system has been written from scratch which makes it more stable. unlike 98 which (i think) was written around the 95 core...

.. And 95 was written around 16-bit windows 3.1 core...
Sure there's lots of top secret stuff, but I can't tell you about any of it until it's actually released- like this media player plugin.
