I would make Sligstorm (in the style of the old 2D games), only make it a bit longer and more varied than the original idea. Have him visit other places and have a larger goal after escaping. Then release it on XBLA/PSN.
If people like it and it is at least a decent hit for that kind of game, then re-release Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus on XBLA/PSN with slightly updated graphics and such, and maybe an extra level or two tossed in to get long-time fans a reason to buy it as well. If those do well, I would also rerelease Much's Oddysee on XBLA/PSN as well. However, unlike the PS1 games I would not add or change anything to this game. While many would like to see Munch's Oddysee reach the potential we were told it would reach, I would simply rerelease the original and move onto the main aspect of my plan (since it had probably taken at least a year or two to get all those released).
If Sligstorm is not a hit, I'll forget about rereleasing the old games on XBLA/PSN and move right on to the main plan. Finishing the damn Quintology.
I'd collect all of the previous notes on the projects and have Lorne act as a supervisor (and hopefully writer and voice actor). But I would indeed be a huge creative influence on the games as well. I mean, if I now own this company and series, I might as well do things the way I would want them to be done. Expect the future games to be more like a 3D version of the older games instead of the direction Much and Stranger took the series. Hopefully we could see a release for these games on both PS3 and Xbox 360, but if I had to develop for just one it would be the Xbox 360. Since games for the current generation of consoles take longer to develop, we would have no breaks. We would begin development on all the titles at once so we have a solid idea of where we want it to go and when we finish one move right onto completing the next one.
Once the Quintology is finished and the main story of Oddworld is over, I sell the series to whoever wants it. That way, I can hopefully make some money off of it and the buyer can go on to make all the extra bonus games and sequels they want.
