I'm back - with very depressing news. . .

Okay, first off, the developers cut my phone line for the FOURTH time, so I couldn't come online yesterday. Secondly, one of my sisters dogs went missing (Chili - the one that got kidnapped by the devlopers earlier), and it turned out he wondered off, stupidly walked into a busy road, and got killed in a head on collision with a car on Greensward Lane. The person that hit him drove on without stopping, and it was the person in the car behind that pulled over and picked up his mangled remains. . . I don't actually think it's quite hit me yet. . . How did I know his stupidness would kill him in the end? Oh well, at least he didn't die in pain, and he may of lived a short life, but it was a happy one.

I'm very sorry to hear about your dog, Eddie. I know how important pets can be to their owners. I cried bucketfuls when my rat got cancer and had to be put down. I've still got my cat, though, and I love her to bits and wouldn't want to see her go.

I hope the evil bastard who didn't even bother to stop his car carries the guilt to his grave.

How could you not stop after something like that? I hope that guy's car explodes and he dies in the horrible, ravaging blaze . Anyway try steel reinforcing your phone line. Or have it self-destruct whenever it's tampered with.

Okay, well, it wasn't my dog, it was my sisters, and I never did know Chili as well as the other dogs. He always was a total and utter moran. . . If he didn't kill himself, he would of put my sister in A LOT of trouble, as he kept running up into the development site next door. You read the "Developers nicked my sisters dog!" topic, didn't you? Well, it probably wasn't called that, but it was similar. Anyway, it wasn't the drivers fault, it was the dogs. Still, the driver should of stopped and picked up his remains. However, maybe the driver didn't notice. Oh well, there isn't anything that can be done now, and we'll never catch the driver that hit him. Just think, it could of been worse. Chili could of caused a serious accident. . . Anyway, I'll stop rambling about him now. RIP, Chili. . .

I feel sympathy as well. Although I was too young to remember when my cat died, I do remember that I cried a lot.

Call me a cynic, but does anyone else have the sneaking suspicion that the driver of the car DID stop, then just told Eddie that it wasn't him/her...?

Sorry about Chili, Eddie. It must be horrible for you and your sister... sorry... *sympathy*

Yeah, that's possible Dan. In fact, that's probably what happened... unless Eddie actually witnessed the guy driving off, and the driver behind him stopping. But, yeah, you could be right...

Well, what really happend is that Chili got killed on Monday, and because our phone line was cut, the vet didn't manage to contact us until Wednesday. The vet told us that someone had bought Chili's mangled body in, claiming to be the driver of the car behind the one that hit Chili. But yeah, you might be right. That person could of been the one who hit Chili. Who knows.
