Aliens vs. Oddworld: Black & White

Here's my little Alien/Oddworld crossover. Both universes belong to their respective owners. This is a totally unofficial fanfic. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Landing

The sunset of Oddworld was magical in nature. The orange glow of the fading sun welcomed the darkness of the night and moons. The birds ceased chirping and made their way back to their nests. Mudokons and Sligs made their final patrols before heading to their beds. The Scrabs and Paramites still walked around and explored the surrounding area. Everything was normal.

A small escape pod was hurtling towards the planet. The craft was white and contained two electronic containment devices. The craft was starting to burn up as it hit the atmosphere. There were no thrusters to propel it away from the planet, so it hit the ground with ferocity.

As the dust clears, the spacecraft is seen to be mostly intact. However, the containment devices have been damaged. As the cracks appear in the window of the cryogenic units, two small face-huggers slowly wake up and crawl out of the window. The two face-huggers take one look at each other, and then head in opposite directions.

Chapter 2: The Shaman

As one of the face huggers went South-East, he was headed to the Mudokon village. He was trying to find someone isolated... on their own. He entered a large hut, hoping to find at least one person who wasn't with a friend. He spots an elderly Mudokon who was lying on the bed. He sneakily approaches him.

The elderly Mudokon named Warazi was feeling his age. "My time is ending. I do not have left for this world. This will be my final night's sleep. Farewell my brothers". As he finished talking to himself, his eyes faded and all energy and strength left his body. As the body becomes stiff and immobile, the face-hugger makes its move and attaches itself to the Mudokon's face.

Chapter 3: Reincarnation

A few hours later, the chartbuster matures and emerges from the body. The chest-burster experiences some strange thoughts. It ignores them for now and finds a place to grow. It was early morning and it had to be careful not to be spotted. He goes to an empty hut and proceeds to increase in size. A few hours later he was about 7 foot tall.

The Shaman’s body had given the Alien the gift of intelligence and mudokonity of their race. He could understand pain, love, loss, fear... He knew the first thing he must do.

A group of Mudokons were surrounded the elder's body. As the 7 foot tall white Alien creature entered, the Mudokons started panicking and running around. "Wait", the Alien said, "I do not come to harm you". The Mudokons stopped running and stared at the strange creature.

Chapter 4: Plan of Action

The creature moved to a sitting position. "Our Alien race requires that we develop from other creatures. My initial form chose your Shaman as the host. I apologize for desecrating the body, but he died shortly before I entered his system".

The Mudokons look at each other with puzzled faces. The Alien continued, "But this is only part of the problem. Our race is normally very violent and is only interested in reproduction. There was another first-form on the spaceship that landed here, if that form finds another host, than we are going to be facing extinction if we don't fight back".

The Mudokon nearest to the Alien raised a hand, "What can we do to help?". The alien turned to look at him, "We need to find this other of my kind and destroy him before he takes over the entire planet". The Mudokon stood up and picked up their hunting spears, "Alright, we'll help you find it".

Chapter 5: Evil Lurking

The face-hugger was walking around a factory which was to the North. He had found an isolated Mudokon. It leapt on the Mudokon’s face, the Mudokon tried to scream but it couldn't get much sound away from the creature. The creature tightened the tail around the Mudokon’s neck and it fainted.

The next day, the Mudokon seemed to be fine. As the Mudokon was scrubbing the 30th boiler, he started having convulsions and then suddenly a creature burst from his chest. The Mudokon screamed in agony and fear and collapsed on the floor. The creature ran to hide and gestate.

A few hours later the creature transformed into a 7 foot Black creature. Like the Mudokons he had 3 fingers and 3 toes on the end of each limb, but unlike them... it had a segmented tail, an elongated smooth head and a set of inner-jaws which extends from the outer jaws. The Alien howled and headed for some more possible hosts.

it happens, i don't get too many comments on my fanfic anymore either. Most likely due to boring story, nothing interesting to say, bad spelling etc. I look at the views and see that there is apparently people reading, so I don’t know what.

I find the clash of two separate universes very original and interesting, I might do something like that some day.

Bad spelling? Now I know I'm not 100% accurate all the time, but I don't particularly see any obvious mistakes... Guess I needed to run it through Microsoft Word.

Chapter 6: Hosts

After a good evening's worth of hunting, he had found a Mudokon, two Sligs, a Glukkon, three Interns and a Vykker. He now had lots of potential bodies. He used his body to create eight eggs. These eight eggs were placed in front of each host. The host was stuck in place with a special sticky cocoon.

As the Sligs started waking up, they started yelling for help. The eggs started opening and some new face-huggers climbed out and jumped on their new hosts. The Sligs continued to struggle as the other eggs started opening. They couldn't break free of their bonds and were all overcome by the spider-like creatures.

A few hours later, the new creatures came out. Each of them black in colour. They spoke to each other in a hiss and then looked for more victims.

I like this alot, seems there potential for a full scale Mudoken V.S. alien war.

The gap between me posting this fanfic and the comments was a bit strange. I suppose people are put off by the Aliens prospect at first. Anyway, I'll continue this story. I can easily see 20-30 chapters from it.
