Because generally the area is pretty hard (unless you've played it over 70 times, like most people on this forum have) and after dying for the 6th time you tend to get annoyed. I think they put the face there as a sort of 'haha, we made this one hard didn't we?' for those who happen to look at the background.

oh... I've only played it like 3 times

To be fair, Leto, you should know better. Most of the new members have to put up with a period of grilling over their grammar, punctuation or spelling, and you're hardly setting a perfect example. There is always time to point out bad punctuation, grammar or spelling. That is why we have such generally good punctuation, grammar and spelling in these forums. And just saying that you won an arugument is a really bad way to debate. Just to clear things up for UnknownSlig, you did mean punctuation. Grammar is the structure of sentences.

@Luskan: Problem is in your eyes or monitor. That screenshot has the finest qualify and at least I don't have any difficulties to see the face. Try to trim your screen's resolution and see if that helps.

Looking at the face, i can see were Bobtheguy is coming from with the logo...If you look at it long enough it does kind of look like a glukkon head.

Funnily enough, I did notice it on my second replay of Exoddus years and years ago. I knew it had to be an easter egg and I still wonder what it is, but I just didn't bother to say anything. :P

I still think it looks more like a face than a cave creature painting.

XD This is the beauty of the game industry. These little things people sneak in. I mean, Mew was snuck in as a Pokemon, hence why it wasn't before Mewtwo but after... And then you got the stuff Rare snuck into the level designs of Banjo-Kazooie...

Makes you wonder if anything else was snuck into the games.
