Oddworld The Apprentice: Your Opinions

Everyone looking forward to it?

Nothing more entertaining than watching a bunch of businessmen make terrible decisions. Sir Alan Sugar's comebacks are hillarious as well.

I selected no although I have seen perhaps one episode. I find nothing quite so dull as the world of business, and the Big Brother–elements (as in the inter-group messings about, not anything actually Orwellian) only served to make it more banal. This is yet another programme I will leave to those who have an interest in the field, in this case money-making.

I recently caught a couple of snippets of celebrity apprentice, I think.

That Tom Green certainly does seem to have his shit together.

Never seen it, and with some luck, I never will. Not my kind of program. If I want to know about businesses, I'll find one I'm interested in, research it, and research all things relevant. I don't need a group of people and an old man to tell me how to go about this sort of thing.

But, as I've never seen it, there may be a flaw in my judgement.

I like the music from the apprentice because it was used on Kenny Vs. Spenny once.

Hmmm I guess people like different programs. Oh yeah, your avatar reminds me... I saw an episode of the original Randall and Hopkirk series, it looked pretty decent from what I've seen so far

As much as I love Vic Reeves, the old ones were better. Believe me, you should watch it more often. It's great.

I take it that this thread refers to the British version of the Apprentice with Sir Alan Sugar, not the apalling, cringe-worthy American version with Baldylocks.

I've never seen the american version. Oh well, I guess this thread was doomed from the start. Let's move on to favorite candidates;

One of my favorites was Raef He was just so suave and cool!

I watched the uk-version. Liked it more than the us version. I find it funny(not in a haha-way) that people go into programs like this only to get yelled at an have their confidence stripped. The same goes for programs such as Idol and that show called hell's Kitchen or something.

I like the music too.

I like the UK version more. I watch it for the personality of people. The question is this been too many seasons already? Backstabbing, backstabbing and more backstabbing. Every "man" for themselves. But I have to watch in online about a years time maybe. Because in HK they play us version.

We up to date in the us seasons. Always new things. Dont have time to watch them all. :P

Hell's Kitchen is ok, I prefer Kitchen Nightmares though
Ramsey, Oliver, I love all the celebrity chefs

I think every single contestant is egotistical. That's what makes it so fun when they screw up!

Can't stand Hell's Kitchen. I'd spit in his face and get in a very clumsy-middle of a kitchen-brawl with him.

Can't have two of us too close, dontchaknow.

My confidence is so thin you wouldnt want to see it stripped. Would make a nude anorexic look fat.

I've always meant to get into The Apprentice, never got round to it. I should do some time, but I've always forgone Sir Alan and instead sometimes watched Dragon's Den. Something else I mean to watch more.

The dragons are horrible people when in front of the camera's. They just belittle people, and I think generally, whereas people claim "It makes great television", it doesn't.

There is a difference between being a like-able bastard (like Simon Cowell, or to stay more on topic, Suralun) and being a complete cunt to people, ripping their ideas apart and being rude to them with absolutely no justification other than "I don't think your product works, so I will make fun of everything I see in front of me."

Dragon's Den is really great in my opinion. It's education and entertainment.

Education - You learn more about business
Entertainment - You get to laugh at the silly ideas and witty comebacks
