actually, i think he may be a tosser pretty much all the time. i have yet to think of a post he has made which isn't criticising others or complimenting himself...

In Answer: No, I haven't 'Come Out' to my Mum, but I really don't think she'd mind at all. She's verrry liberal, and has told me many a time that if I found I was gay, I shouldn't be ashamed.

Dude, this is whiggin' me out!! I've only met one Homo dude, and he was the Stereotypical Queer!! I've always wondered what possesses people to become gay, and now im not sure I want to know. I have read the bible and it condemns all homosexuality as a sin. If one doesn't stop getting freaky, and continues to reject God, their afterlife will be lived out somewhere south of Heaven. I won't condemn gay people, I'm more like worried about them than angry at them

Yeah, as for the Bible condeming homosexuality as a sin, there used to also be a sin to eat meat on Friday. And that was taken out. Plus, if homosexuality was really a sin - why the hell would God make you that way in the first place?

Thats wrong, Lucifer does not take life. He merely takes the evil under his wing and gives a home to all evil bastard peeps. Jesus is the all powerful one not Lucifer. Lucifer does not have the means to do so. Also i have to say. God gave us free will to do anything we wanted to do. So why, if we choose a certain path, should he condemn us for choosing it.

HDM, it's not that I believe that by instantly praising God you receive every wish, desire, and need. Far from it. Did anyone see South Park two weeks ago, the one where Cartman owned a Theme Park? (Yes, I know so many of you wish to flame me, but I do watch it every now and then.) Well, in part of the episode Kyle looses his faith in God. In the hospital, his parents read to him a section from the book of Job. Here's how it went, I think...

Kyle's Mom: There was once a man named Job who praised God every day. He had cattle, a family, and friends. One day, Satan went up to God and said that the only reason Job worships you is because you gave him all of those things. God says to Satan, "I will prove you wrong. I will take away his cattle, his friends, and his family and he will still worship me." So, God sent a horde of barbarians to murder the cattle and destroy the town. Then an earthquake destroys Job's house with his family inside, but Job still praises God. Then Job is struck with a horrible disease and yet he still worships God. God then says to Satan, "See, I told you that Job will always worship me regardless of whether or not he has these things."

Yes, please save the flames for me. I really don't want it but I can't believe everything I hear from religion. The priests constantly change sins (IE - the meat on Friday thing no longer being a sin). Shouldn't God's laws always stay the same? Why do the priests have the power to annex and remove sins made by God himself? I prefer to praise God in my own home and not to be shot about by different religions. When someone asks me what my religion is, I just say Christian. Nothing more, nothing less. By the way, WHY do they call it the "House of God?" Doesn't God exist everywhere?

Statikk, what's your problem with homosexuality? it doesn't harm you in any way, and unseenprophet has already explained why disliking something just because of what the bible says is pointless. what you're saying is that a man may be a Great man; he may be a doctor, he may come up with a cure for cancer, he may bring about world peace, he may stop all crime. but if he just happened to be gay, he would go to hell, despite all of the good things he has done in his life? does that sound like the caring, forgiving god that christians claim to worship? if you people would only sit down and think about what you believe before you condemn others, you might be more likeable...

i have no problem with bisexuals, homosexuals or lezbians. i do not think it is wierd or abnormal, infact my aunt is a lezbian. i would always get really angry when someone would something is bad by saying that it is gay.

anyway...the bible was passed though word-of-mouth for a few thousand years and has been translated through several different languages, it's full of metaphores...you can't take it literally...

The entire concept of conforming to the Christian doctrine which is accepted as 'good' seems pretty strange to me. Major Catholic churches in Australia preach that homosexuality in practice is a sin. Should I go against what I believe - that this is completely wrong and irrational - and assume that some obscure biblical reference dictates what is right or wrong?

Hell no. I'll do and think what I believe is right, backing it up with how I affect others. Love others as you would love yourself, yes - but Christianity too often contradicts itself with this self righteousness.

Morality is completely subjective. Nobody has the right to preach that homosexuality is wrong when it doesn't have a negative effect upon anybody.

i know they're metaphores...i'm just saying that after several thousand years of word-of-mouth passing-on of the story, the meaning's gonna change...as with translation, eg there are several different ways of saying the same thing in different languages - some of them will have different meanings if translated strictly or loosely...

Yeah, my friend Fight Club uses it all the time. I remember playing Soul Caliber, he said "Christ! This guy moves so damn slow! It's so f*cking gay!" So, this entitles that homosexuals do not have quick reflexes? *shakes his head* At my school, the most common insult is to be called a gay or fag. I refuse to do that though. Man - these people really piss me off. Everday I see these people who mock what they do not comprehend or understand. It's obscene! You should at least get the whole story before you make a comment.

Actually when some 1 callz a object or something that does not have a sexuality gay they usually mean sad or shit. Its basically the masculine, homophobic str8 way of saying other expressions that certain peeps will use. I 4 example blow a peep out by saying "Dude...your gayer than me" This makes them stutter and come to terms they have been insulted by me...the supposed "Gay" of the skool. Then again there's the good old insult wich i do wen i am really pissed off "Hey m8...i'd watch ur backside if i were u...ur my type"

i think we all know that they don't mean literally homosexual when they use gay as an insult, but even non-literally, it doesn't exactly imply that they think highly of gays, does it? i mean, when you call someone any insult, like bastard or dickhead, you don't mean it literally, but that doesn't mean that you highly respect people born out of wedlock or having cocks sticking out of their heads...
