The whole thing comes from "revolutionaries" in San Francisco that dropped shit-tons of acid and smoked meth. They are naught but drug-addled wastes. I appreciate their contribution to kicking off counter-culture, but shit, other than they are goddamn useless.

EDIT: I guess they're kind, can't fault 'em for that. But still fucking useless.

you know i read somewhere about an experiment. about 20 (# stands just for comparison) male, non-pedo psychologic students watched a slide show of photos, whith under 12 years old naked girls on them. about 18 of them got an erection.
manga/anime figures like those on your image are in such a position, only adults or at least juveniles would be.
apart from that i hope everyone is able to differ between a pedophile and a pedocriminal. as long as a pedophile hasn't done anything wrong, i think nobody should blame him for anything...

(I'm going to get burned for this, I know that for a fact, BUT) I think in a way that if you'd go back to basics, our instinct considers a 12 year old girl sexually mature. And this is true in a way because there are plenty of girls who get their first period around their 11th, 12th or 13th. Next to that there are also plenty of stories of girls who are pregnant on the age of 12.

Our society has banned any sexual thought of children that young because sex has become a lot more then it's basic purpose of reproducing. But in the sense of our primal instinct I think that a 12 year old would be considered ok for mating with and this our instinct gives you the boner.

Of course no-one is ever going to admit getting a boner when he sees a young girl around the age of 12 - 15, when you're around 20 yourself. But I'm pretty sure that it has happened to every guy at one point or another. Think swimming pools, beaches or accidentally getting confronted with the wrong kind of porn somehow.

Just because we consciously know such thoughts about young children are wrong in today's society doesn't mean our primal instincts gives a rats ass.

I have only got a problem with the gypsies who steal and use other people's land without permission or reason. Gypsies in general I dont. I made that post intending it as a joke. But evidently it wasnt obvious. That or I'm not one of the people who can get away with making politically incorrect statements like Kimon's generalisation of hippies that I at first presumed was also meant in jest. Maybe I should use [sarcasm] tags in the future. But its irrelevant as the damage is done already by that post.

This. But uhm, 12 years old is actually not considered pedo. 12-year-olds have sexual properties that can be attractive to adults. Pedophilia is actually used to describe people who get off to 5-year-olds and such.

Wiki says it depends on the context. In the medical context it means sexual attraction to a prepubescent child. In law enforcement it means sexual contact with a minor (which is anything below 18 I believe).

So then, outside the law enforcement term, what would be the term for sexual attraction to children above the age of 12 for example?

I understand your point but I still think its paedophilia at its core. It may not seem to be in the same sense but they're 12 for God's sakes. If you were saying it about a 14 or 15 yr old I maybe could understand your point as by then they have considerably phsyically developed but at 12, they are still little more than a kid physically. But I don't really take an interest in studying paedophilia so its not like Im particularly informed on the subject anyway.

And anonyman, you bring up a good point, but still, regardless on why they are attracted, the reason they are persecuted, or how I intreptate it, is because they are not seen to be mature enough to make a decision such as sex, and can be easily manipulated by others.
Look, I know it's harsh, by I personally believe it's for the best, if only to protect the minority out there.

But yes, they differ from pedos because pedos seem to be defined by people who have a fettish, whereas, those who prey on young kids, possibly even under 12s can do it because of how vunerable, and easily influenced they are.
Either way, these people are still horrble, IMO, and "predators".

But I digrees, those girls are drawn that way in order to look adorable and cute, which is in the style of most anime, and so japanese school girls can identify with them, however, they are teenagers pruley because they're just in reach of japanese male teenagers, or in this case, Ghost, being attracted to them.
Therefore, the reason why these kids watch these shows, Ghost you can argue whatever you want but kids love how shows look, and don't care so much what actually happens.
