iv heard different roumours about this game,most say there going back to WWII,but iv heard about it going into the future.whatever there doing,i hope its good.
i found some info,i dont know if its real or not.but iv heard more about in WWII tho.

*Edit* This is a forum, and because of that, I defend my rate to say what I want, I am no Nazi lover, just a media hater, but if any of you are sensitive along the toppic of WWII, please don't read this post.

Also, I only view my post as being offensive because it isn't innoffensive to certain people as I have a feeling it should be.

What the hell, they make a good, inuative step, and give a breathe of fresh air to the series, and then they take it away again? Sometimes I just can't even guess what goes on inside these people's heads.
I too have heard it's going to be set in WWII, in the pacific regions, I don't realy care, and am probably not going to get this game.
Seriously, I mean, at least lets see the war from a perspective that hasn't been done to death, like the Australians, hell, I wouldn't even care if I had to play as a Jap., soviet or even Nazi (it may even be a good twist to play a german blindly protecting his country), but no, apprently they all voluntry joined the war out of a conjoined love for eating babies and devil worship.
Retreaded grounds keep on being revisited, WWII games all end up being the same thing, and the only way to escape this is to leave WWII altougher, which worked extremley well... omg, I'll cut my ramblings short, but I think this is a great waste of potential.

I can't remember who did what, but basically the CoD4 boys will have nothing to do with 5 as they're going to be busy with 6, which, from what I've read, will be based in a modern/futuristic setting.

It's kind of like what happened to splinter cell. 1 was good, Pandora Tomorrow was a polished turd, Chaos Theory was good, and Double Agent sucked a whole lot of cock.

But yeah, get ready to do the time warp. CoD5 will be all about dem dere dumb dumb krauts.

Ehhhnn, So-so for me. 4 was a crapfest, and origins was REALLY REALLY irritating, but some of the monsters seem to be enough to make the game good on their own.

Combat was never SH's strong point

Well apparently the main character in SH5 is an ex marine, so the combat isn't going to be as clunky.

I guess that also means he'll be better with guns. I just hope that doesn't mean the ground is going to be littered with them.

Also, SH5 is going to made by a completely different company (American, I think). Similar to how CoD3 and CoD5 are made by Treyarch instead of Infinity Ward, ironically.

That being said, I have high hopes for it as well. Monster design looks so much better than some of SH4's mediocre designs. This new company that's making it is supposedly composed of long-time SH fans, so maybe it won't suck.

People need to stop stepping on dead Jews and be creative for once. COD4 was so sweet, why on earth would any publisher wanna go back to WWII? If it's gonna be future based I hope they do a good job, not many developers do a good job with futuristic games...
