He has no genitals. I think he is like Abe.

Gabbits have eggs.

So do Mudokons. In the same game, in fact.
Abe is called ‘he’ as well, but he’s gender‐neutral. Sligs are also gender‐neutral, but they’re normally ‘it’s.

There has been a lot of discussion about whether or not the eggs have been fertilised, something Munch might have to do. A male Munch.
I may have tackled this subject somewhere in this general area.

Good to know that
conclusions can change following research.
The idea that Munch would have to fertilize the Gabbit eggs was first asked by GrigtheSlig in a
Q&A thread. I reacted with shock, because I’d never heard of the idea. The most OWI have ever publicly divulged about Gabbits, AFAIK, is that Munch has a mother (a truly enlightening fact brought to us by Paul O’Connor in a designer diary (which will soon be readable on the Oddworld Scriptures, by the way)). Started by his initially mentioning it, the idea soon caught on and was accepted by several members as a fact.
(As an aside, it was already a popular theory that Gabbits do come with regular males and females of a fairly 50/50 divide, based on Paul’s comment, plus the idea that Gabbits live in pods which are known to be their family.)
However, now that this topic has been brought up, a couple of things occur to me. Firstly, Xav also remembers it. Xav also ‘remembered’ that Kintos carry Maggie long before it was ever confirmed in
The Art of Oddworld Inhabitants. To this day I’m not sure where he got that jewel of knowledge from (although just recently I have recovered a post that refers to a new type of slave that carries Maggie, but it doesn’t identify Kintos by name or description, plus it’s in the Exoddus Club, a private group Xav was never a member of. To summarize this point: I trust Xav.
Secondly, GrigtheSlig is Oddguy’s brother. Oddguy, in case you didn’t know, was lucky enough to win a win a signed copy of the art book when he phoned in to a live interview with Lorne Lanning
on G4TV, and correctly won a competition by
answering ‘no’ to the question ‘Do Abe’s stitched lips have anything to do with him not having teeth?’. Anyway, Lorne then elaborated that Sam actually sewed up Abe’s lips because he cried a lot, keeping him alive. This is actually a contentious issue, because although this explanation come from Lorne himself, we know Sam is kept by the Vykkers and Abe was hatched in RuptureFarms. Anyway, the really odd thing is that Oddguy, over a year before Lorne dropped this continuity bombshell on everyone, had ‘
heard somewhere’ that Sam sewed Abe’s lips shut. To summarize this point: Oddguy knew things before he could have through public channels, and Grig is his brother, so it may be completely official that Munch has to fertilize the eggs, only it has never been said
publicly by anyone official.

LOL! For me is female because at the end of Munch's Oddysee she takes care of the 150 Gabbit Eggs ^_^ And usually it's a female to do it...
