Oh my goodness, if true, this is distressing news. After checking a few of Dark Hood's older posts, I determined that he uses two different sets of alternating IP addresses. The IP address for the author of this topic was one of those IPs, so it was definately posted from a computer Dark Hood once used.
Of course, I still hope Dark Hood is alive and well, but in the instance that this news is true, I'm really sorry for his family, friends and beloved pets.

You know... I began to wonder if this wasn't a stupid stunt... after remembering you said someone had kidnapped your sister's dog, I wondered if it wasn't something in a similar vein...
About the IP address, it was similar to the one used when you posted in the topic about which Simpson's character was your favorite. Were you at a computer other than your home when you posted it? Because the forums remember your username and password until you log out, perhaps someone took advantage of this fact.
I'm guess I'm just relived that it is a joke. I read the post and actually started crying because DH is a friend (although I never seem to be on MSN to chat anymore). I guess I'm pretty vulnerable that way, but because it was using the right account I guess I (like others) belived it.
We seem to be getting this kind of thing lately... first people joining and posting nasty messages about some members and now this. Although this sounds like the same people you were referring to. What nasty people, I hope something can be done about them. Do you know who... can't you report them to the cops or something?
Also, it may be a good idea to change your forums password. If your username is remembered on another PC, then changing the password should allow it to not log on anymore.

I changed my password yesterday, thanks. Also, I will set up a fierwall (when I can get round to it), so this kind of crap will never ever happen again.

it sounds like the forums is egtting attacked by hackers more and more frequently. does anyone here know how to hack? maybe we could find these hackers and shut 'em down.
