but maybe we should do something we souldn't normally do, as well as anniversity themed fan art of course. I don't know what though.

Wait no more, for I have finally completed the task.
I could have done more on this, but I didn't want to go on with it any more due to the exam block incoming and the need to study. I hope you enjoy:

The 'Water' Dispenser.

This is an image I thought up on a sort of 'ODD' office occurence. Offices usually have a water dispenser somewhere, and conversations usually occur around these offices spaces, so I decided to give that event an 'ODD' twist. Going by how most creatures look (slimy), I created my own ODDWORLD slime dispenser. And of course, there's always the part where the boss wants you to get back to work.
All renders used are the property of Oddworld Inhabitants.

Sorry if this isn't what you're looking for. I'll try manipulating the images the way Carnix does next time, and see what happens.

Wow, great job! I should spend less time talking here, and do my work more so I can make something for the event, lol, I'm just sooo busy.

I just read from the 'Art of Oddworld Inhabitants' book that the ten year anniversary since Abe's Oddysee was released is on the 19th of September, which also happens to be 'Talk Like a Pirate Day'. So, the day of the anniversary, everyone should be talking like PIRATES!

Hmmm.. welllll i would maybe play Abe's Oddysee through again but i know it's actually quite a few who don't have either the game or the patience(note that patience isn't meant to be an insult). Or... something else but what?

By the way, something I wanted to say for weeks: I'm still strangely disappointed that even to celebrate something like the 10th birthday of the first and greatest Oddworld game, this lousy forum couldn't just pull together and do something as a group.

I've managed to decode some of the file formats.. 10 years on, that'll do for my Anniversary "thing". Its a step towards a custom AO engine so that AO can live on, even when the orginal pc version will no longer work on future OS's
