Goodbye Ilovehammy

I just wanted to say goodbye to Ilovehammy who says she will no longer come to OWF. She was hurt by what several people said to her about her faith. I'm not religious myself but I know a good, kind hearted person when I see one. I would never want to lose a friend just becuase we had different beliefs. I'm not here to dispute anything only to say that I respect Ilovehammy.
I will miss her.

I mean, come on… just by looking at you I can tell there’s nothing to be proud of. And began preaching about how god watches over her, even though she is a hypocritical nutjob evangelist.

Yes, I am one of the people that 'Drove her out' But I don't regret it, and though this may get me an infraction, or even a banning, I still stand by the fact that it was the right decision as far as I am concerned.

I won't by into ANY "I was hurt by these people for no reason" crap at all, seriously, grow the fuck up.

I'm glad that OWF's occupation of resident priest is left empty. I don't exactly need someone telling me that the world will end and humanity will be destroyed. Being a Christian isn't easy, nor is passing the message on to others. I hope you don't leave. Sometimes the best way to show God's love and power is to be an example for others. I hope you learn something from whats happened, but at the same time don't give up on other people. "Don't lord over people assigned to your care, but lead them by your good example." 1 Peter, 5 vs 3.
Remember God's forgiveness. He loves non-believers, too. Remember when Jesus was on the cross he prayed for his persecutors. "Jesus said, "Father, forgive these people, for they do not know what they are doing."" Luke, 23 vs 34.

Whether you stay or go, I pray your faith stays strong and continues to grow.

Aww, this is pretty sad. I mean, not only that we've lost a wonderful member, but just the whole giant big kabloozy. I mean, I'm an atheist, but come on. I'm not the sort of person who goes out laughing at devout Christians and saying "LOLOLOL U BELIEV IN GOD UR A RETARD LOL." Religion can actually do wonders to people who need something to put faith in, and many of the lessons and morals taught in the Bible would get my solid approval (although, there are one or two in there that aren't so good).
However, those people who go around constantly upholding their religion, are pretty much the same as those atheists who laugh at believers. Everything's pretty even-sided from what I can see/what I've heard. And I must reluctantly agree that Ilovehammy did/is/was act/acting a little childish about all this. I mean, if she leaves, said 'Belief Bulliers' will have won, and this place will still be a big slobbering anti-Christian society.
But, she could be just rather sensitive, and I wouldn't blame her for that. Really, if people just left other people's beliefs alone, just no more arguing, just stfu about the whole thing, we'd all be happy and this wouldn't have happened.

Marvak, I get what you're saying but I make an exception for certain people. Ilovespammy was one of them.
First off, if I get a PM that she sent to PV and which PV sent to me (thanks for that btw, she must be realy pissed about that ) that says she hates just about everyone on this board and has some of our pictures on her dartboard, that is enough for me to start a rebelion against her. Nonetheless, if she wants to skulk around and say things about people behind our proverbial backs then who does she think she is drawing for sympathy?

As far as cyber bullying goes, that tends to be typically one sided. and even so, carrying on about gods wrath (Of which she has a convoluted and generally retarded concept of), and yammering on about television shows for 7 year olds is going to get you flamed, simple as that.

Personally I really don't care that she's left. When I advised her [months ago] to stop shoving her religion down other people's throats, she ignored me. And so IMO it's her own fault she got flamed. Not every Christian [or Muslim/Jew/Whatever] gets flamed on this board, only the stupid preachy ones do.
