Then, hypothetically the goverment therefore detained the family, because, hypothetically, they made a bullshit law that, hypo-fucken-thetically, says that it's illegal to display racial slurs in the public, which, hypothetically, violates the countrie's first omendment, which, hypothetically, lets anyone say whatever the fuck they want, no matter what. All the Gothic kids in my area became Emo about two years ago. That's when I saw kids posing as being "individuals" but ultimately just being the antithesis of earning respect and being different.

I don't like the way people think I am a goth simply because of my dark brown hair. I asked one of my buddies why people think I'm a goth. And he said 'Maybe it's because you've got black hair...and you wear eyeliner'. I don't wear eyeliner unless I feel like it (I hardly feel like it).

I also don't like Chavs. Most of them are idiots who look more like prostitutes and apes rather than people. They are only a few nice chavs out there. But there are the horrible ones who plaster on the make-up, wear that stupid fake jewellery and just go around hassling everyone.

One of my pet peeves: Stereotypes. I don't like the one where people who wear black are assumed as goths. Black looks good on anyone.

I have been stereotyped as a nerd, only because I get really high test results and beat most people in the class at subjects. I don't think i'm a nerd, I just think i'm clever. But most of the people who say I am just hate me or are chavs and I hate chavs to hell because 2 of my best friends were normal clever people until the chavs took them over. Almost no one in my class is very friendly and they are usually antisocial. But anyways, I hate chavs and thats that.

The definition changes a lot I think, but from my own knowledge and viewpoint, an emo is someone who pretends to be depressed because they want attention. There's a fine line between genuinely depressed people and emos.

Emos are pretty much people who use depression and suicide and self-mutilation as fashion statements. Which I think is rather sad, seeing as the people who really do suffer from these problems, get lumped in with these attention-seeking idiots, and are now much less likely to be taken seriously.

I do not personally know any Emos, so I am in a state of indifference as to their existence. What I do not like, is when Emos and genuinely depressed people (and goths too) are lumped in the same category, this makes life harder for those who do actually suffer from depression. I also hate Emo-bashers, those people who hate Emos for almost no reason, or simply do it because others are doing it too. A lot of people do not actually have a good definition of what makes some one an "Emo" so they tend to bash those that are genuinely sad, which in turn, makes them more sad.
